Skylar's POV

"Woah there when did you become a morning drinker" Gio said to me as I took a seat at the bar. "Since the girl that caught my eye rejected me after we got to know each other all night long." Gio shook his head. "Maybe it's all too fast for her Sky, give her a chance. Maybe she'll call you or text you."

I scoffed, "Actually I don't think that's going to happen because I told her I couldn't see her tonight." Gio raised his eyebrows, "and why not?" I looked away from him feeling ashamed. "Madison.."

"You know you do it to yourself Skylar, leave Madison already you know she's not good for you. You had a good run but enough is enough. Seriously break up with her, if you truly want to get to know Jordan."

"Fine I'll talk to her tonight." I felt Gio grab my arm. "Call me if it goes wrong, you'll know I'll be there in 5 minutes."

On my way home the night I was with Jordan just kept replaying in my head over and over. My apartment didn't look the same as before I left and of course there was only one explanation. "Madison are you here!? We need to talk like NOW" I heard a noise come from my bedroom, I walked in and there she was with her arms and legs crossed.

"Skylar who did you bring into our home?" she held up a jacket, I didn't recognize it at first but once I did I knew it was Jordans. "None of your business this is MY house anyways." She threw the jacket at me and walked out. "Madison wait" I chased behind her.

She laughed, "I knew you'd come crawling back the moment I left." I scoffed, "Actually Madison I'm breaking up with you, I'm tired of your abuse and you can get the fuck out of my house and we'll see who comes crawling back later shall we? Goodbye now" I pushed her out the door. For once I felt good, I felt free, now all I needed was Jordan.
