Chapter 2 - I Can't lose you

As they moved near the site of the Hi Shin unit, they suddenly became hear a loud, good natured conversations. Two guards in the front immediately let them go, and when they reached one of the tents, their eyes came out like a snail. Rui sits between Shin and Kyou Kai and apparently talk a pretty funny subject. Shin shows Ruin his own sword, which she reacts "this is shit" and throws it away, and the Commander rushes after his precious weapon.

- Rui? - Mou Ten is the first to speak. Then all three look toward the two newcomers. Shin and Kyou Kai were surprised, while Rui was slightly angry.

- Good night, Ten.

-I can't believe you're here!- He says with a huge smile on his face as the young man and approached his fiancee, but the next second, he got there a slap on his face. Everyone was frozen and waiting for Mou Ten's reaction. On the other hand, he said nothing, only patted his face and took Rui's hand.

- Rui, please..

- You thought I didn't know about it?- She said softly. Ko Zen is turned pale.- "No matter how well Gramps tried to smooth it, somehow the whole area was talking about it.

- This should not be discussed here.- Mou responded, his eyes filled both sadness and guilt. Rui turned her head to Shin's direction.

- We're coming back right away, Shin.

-O-OK. The guy said, not fully understanding what the hell just happened. The couple moved away, down to the last torch.

- Rui, I told you ...

- ... .Yeah, you said it was a lot of fun when you graduated from academy- She turns away from him,her cheerful eyes began to tear up. - But not THAT much.

- ... I was drunk and ...

- Did you know that the head of the Tai family contacted your father shortly afterwards, saying that since his little girl was deflowered, you should marry to her? And after the old man denied it,  The Tai guy started badmouthing me, how the big mighty Mou Bou let.. this ... I don't say ... so, how your father not get rid of me so much earlier ...

- Rui... - Mou Ten try to reach for her, but she had pulled him away. The young Commander's heart tightened.

- I wanted to scold you later for that, but ... I didn't know if you'd ever come back from the war ... - With a sudden move, Mou grabbed Rui and squeezed her so tight. After the momentary shock, she began to wiggle and demand from her fiance that he let her go, but Mou Ten wouldn't let her, even when her fingernails start to scratch his skin and a little amount of blood sprayed from his side..

- It didn't mean anything to me. I love you. I want you for my wife and the mother of my childrens. - He's holding her tight, also crying.- I don't want to lose you Rui, because of one stupid decision. - Rui said nothing, just cried and punched Ten's side, but eventually she stopped and just cried on the young man's shoulders.

Meanwhile

- Long story of theirs, young Shin. - Ko Zen says, and you could almost see him remembering the couple's childhood.

- But ... if Rui wanted to see Mou Ten so much, then why ... - The old man hung his head.

- The young lord had done something that would have been better if Lady Rui hadn't learned.

- Huh? What? - Shin gaze the old soldier with puzzled look.

- I suppose he banging someone else.- Sou sui said from the background, and Shin shoved his sword into his head.

- Silence in the background! - He shouted, but seeing Ko Zen's expression, his man was not far from the truth. As the two continued talking, the youngsters returned, holding each other's hands.

- Ah, Mou Ten-sama... - Ko Zen said and had already made a seat for them. Mou sat down and Rui sat between his legs and the young man embraced her.

- Then, now...

- Part of it. I'm still angry at him... - Rui interrupted.

- ... And there will be time before she can fully trust me again ... Mou Ten continued.

- .. But the best of it ... -

- ... that neither of us wants to give up. - Ko Zen was crying out loud here in joy and half-loud start blabbering something about "The young man is finally grown up" but they just laughed at him. After the laughter had stopped, Shin stepped closer to them and extended his sword to Rui.

- Why did you just say "this is shit" like that before? - Rui simply raises her left hand for the sword, then slides her right index finger over it.

- Try  to look fancy, but thats simple workmanship, poor proportion of materials even it quite good quality, overheating, which they wanted to counterbalance with more weight. And look... - Her finger stopped at a point where Shin, after winking heavily, thought he was discovering a crack on the side of blade.

- I would have predicted about three more battles with this before its broken and you were cut off.

- That's for sure? - Shin asked and Rui nodded. Mou Ten put his chin on her head.

- You can believe her. Rui's not so good at cooking or tactical affairs, but if forging the subject you barely find better than her.

- F-forging? You're...

- Yes Shin. Although i thinks it's still early to call me like that, but...- here is where Rui beckons one of the guards on the side to bring her bag. The girl quickly opened it and it was filled with smithing equipment - I'm a master blacksmith.
