Kirishima x Reader "Thank You"

(No Ones POV)

~Middle School~

It was lunchtime. Kirishima sat by himself on a bench while other kids sat at tables with their friends.

(Y/n) was looking to find a seat with her friends, but all the tables were taken. She heard laughter come from her left. She turned to see what had been so funny. Instead of seeing what she tought would be something funny, she saw three boys throwing food at some kid.

She couldn't see who the kid was, so she motioned her friends to come with her to see who these bullies were picking on. As she got closer she recognized immediately who the kid was. It was, Eijiro Kirishima.

Kirishima tried asking the boys to stop, but he was too quiet for them to hear him. But even if he did speak up, he knew they wouldn't listen. He tried blocking the food they were throwing by holding his food tray up like a shield, but that was no good.

"Aren't you not gonna tell us to stop Kirishima!? Pathetic."

The taller boy said with laughter.

"How are you gonna make friends being that shy, HUH!?"

They were just amusing themselves, and Kirishima knew they were right. He was too shy, and he had no friends. At this point Kirishima just gave up. He lowered himself down to the floor and hid his face in his knees, crying.

(Y/n) was outraged.

'Why is that poor boy always getting picked on? He never did anything to anyone.'

(Y/n) thought she had to do something. She marched over to the bullies. Her friends just stood there surprised.
(Y/n) walked up behind the taller bully.

"Hey kid!"

She yelled, wanting to catch his attention.

The kid stopped throwing food and turned around.

"What do you want? Can't you see I'm busy here?"

Said the kid in a rude tone.

Full of anger, (y/n) smashed her tray of food in the bully's face. Kirishima looked up from his knees with a face covered in tears, and shock.

"YOU IDIOTS DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BULLY EIJIRO!"

(Y/n) yelled.

The bully looked at (y/n) with fear in his eyes.

"People like you have gotten on my nerves for the last time! Now leave, and I better not ever see you go near Eijiro again!"

The bully nodded, then ran off. His friends followed along with him.

(Y/n) walked over to Kirishima and offered her hand. Kirishima hesitated for a second, but then decided to grab her hand. She helped pull Eijiro up off the concrete ground.

"I'm sorry about those boys. I don't understand why people think it's fun to pick on people who aren't like them."

She said with anger in her voice.

"Oh where are my manners, I'm (f/n) (l/n)."

(Y/n) introduced herself with a bow.

Kirishima bowed in return.

"Y-you seem to alr-ready know my name. . . "

Said Kirishima with a slight studder.

He had his head down and his arms crossed. Kirishima didn't know how to thank her. She just stood up for him, the kid who was never noticed all of middle school, the kid who has never talked to anybody. He was invisible. But this girl, she was the only one to ever notice him, in a good way.

"Do you want to have lunch together? I need to get a new tray, I'll pay for your lunch too!."

(Y/n) asked.

Kirishima snapped put of his thoughts and looked up at (y/n) with a blush, and a small smile on his face.

"Y-yeah, sure." He replied quietly.

(Y/n) held out her hand again, waiting to see if Kirishima would walk with her hand in hand.

Kirishima didn't hesitate this time, he grabbed her hand and started walking with her to a table. His blush grew bigger. He was holding a girl's hand. He never thought he would have feelings for anyone. He knew he had to thank her.

"H-hey (y/n). . ."

"Yes Eijiro?"

"Thank you! Your the only one who's ever stuck up for me. I don't know how to re-pay you."

"You could re-pay me with a date!"

She said with a closed eyed smile.

Kirishima smiled and blushed.

"You're so cute Kiri!"

Said (y/n) excitedly.

Kirishima giggled at the nickname he was givin, and was glad to accept it.
