Chapter 34 Baby!?

Tony's Pov:

"Your Alpha side is really sweet." I said and Stephen looked up from his book then to my neck.

"Sure it is." He mumbled and looked back down to his book.

"It is...You were really sweet." I said and he ignored me...I sighed and touched the bandage on my neck. That got his attention as he watched my hand play with the bandage. "Are you just going to ignore me now?" I asked and he frowned.

"I'm not ignoring you." He said.

"You are sitting clear on the other side of the room." I said.

"Dangerous." Stephen growled.

"You're not." I said.

"I almost ripped a fucking chunk of flesh off your neck." Stephen snarled and I stared at him. He frowned and looked back down at his book. "Having...hard time controlling myself." He said and I frowned.

"Distancing yourself won't fix anything." I said and he glared at me.

"You're right." He said closing his book and standing up. "I should just lock myself in a room like we have done for Bucky." Stephen said and I growled.

"Would you stop!?" I got up and stepped in front of him.

"Move." He said.

"No." I crossed my arms and he growled...Oh you want to play that shit...fine. I growled back and his growl grew louder as did mine.

"I said move." He snarled.

"I said no." I snarled back and he shoved me back against the wall.

"Stay out of my way." He snarled and let go but I grabbed him.

"I'm not letting you fucking do this again!" I snapped and he froze. "I'm not letting you pull away from me again! I won't lose you again!" I snapped and he stared at me his pupils had grown. He was growling that dangerous one...The one he did before he attacked me last time.

"Bad...No." He said suddenly moving away from me clutching his head.

"Steph?" I asked and he snarled at me then winced. Maybe if I..."Stephy?" I whispered and he froze looking at me. "It's ok...come here, let me help." I said softly and he looked conflicted. "Need Alpha." I whined and he moved finally. I pulled him into a hug and he made a whimper as he held me close. "There is my good Alpha." I said and froze feeling the wetness on my shirt...Oh Steph...

"He ok?" Sam asked.

"I think his Alpha side feels really bad." I said.

"Wait till he's fully back." Sam said and I frowned watching Sam leave.

"It's ok...I still love you Steph...My sweet Alpha." I said and he made a whine as he pressed a kiss to my temple. "Bruce is looking into it and hopefully we'll find a way to either help you guys better control it or cure you." I said and he pulled away then gave me such a gentle kiss that it made my heart skip.

"Love you." Stephen said and I smiled.

"I love you to." I said and he frowned eyes going to the bandage as the guilt came back in his eyes. "That wasn't your fault Stephy...Whatever this is it's making you do some bad things. You're a good Alpha...If you weren't I wouldn't want to have a baby with you." I said and he looked away.

"Stephy...It's alright." I said softly pulling him into another hug when I felt him stiffen. "Steph?" I asked and his hold tightened as his nose skimmed my neck making me laugh a little. "You ok?" I asked and he pulled back something in his eyes changed making me watch him as his clouded eyes became less cloudy but his pupils were still big.
