Chapter 39 Congrats Sam

Stephen's Pov:

It took 10 long hours before the babies were born...A boy and a girl. I pressed a kiss to Tony's sweaty forehead and gave him a worried look at how pale he was. They let us hold them but my mind blanked when I looked up to see Tony limp. I panicked and called a nurse...Christine was quick to reassure me Tony was fine and just exhausted.

"It's his first birth and he had to do two of them...He's exhausted Stephen." Christine said and I swallowed.

"Promise?" I asked and she sighed walking over and checking everything.

"He's fine." Christine said again making me sigh in relief. "So...name ideas?" Christine asked.

"He...He said if we had a girl he wanted to name her Beverly." I said and her eyes softened.

"Of course." She said.

"He's alright...right?" I asked again and she huffed.

"I swear I've never seen you worry this much." Christine said. "He's exhausted...We can wake him probably but he needs the rest." She said.

"Yes...Yes of course he does." I said swallowing and she rolled her eyes.

"Tony? Can you hear me?" Christine asked and Tony groaned.

"5 more minutes." Tony mumbled and I felt the knot in my stomach release.

"See." Christine said and then took the baby from him. "Let's let these two rest to." She said and reached out for the girl I was holding...I let her take it a bit reluctantly but it was Christine...She left us and I moved a chair next to Tony as I ran my fingers through his slightly sweaty hair.

"You did great." I said softly and smiled when Tony leaned into my touch.

Talk of Dr.Banner marrying his Alphas is spreading quickly and right now I'm outside the hospital where Tony Stark is having his baby...Oh...Wait...It's twins! A girl and a boy!

Tony's Pov:

"She's so little." I said my heart melting at the tiny hand holding my finger.

"She's beautiful They both are...You did great." Stephen said pressing a kiss to my forehead as he held the boy.

"I love them...I love you." I said and Stephen smiled at me.

"Your my world." Stephen said and then looked at the babies. "You all are." He said and I smiled.

"I'm so happy right now." I sniffled.

"Welcome to our crazy family." Stephen said and the baby boy made a little noise.

"I should make them a suit...Ironbaby." I said and Stephen burst into laughter and I joined him...After all that stress we deserve this. There was a knock at the door and Stephen tensed when Rosemary poked her head in making me grin.

"I came to see my grand babies." She said and I sat up slowly because I'm still exhausted.

"Come on in." I said. Rosemary and Stephen's dad walked in. "Say hello to Harley and Beverly." I said and Stephen's dad smiled as I handed him the little girl. Stephen let out a small growl his body tensed.

"Look how beautiful." Stephen's dad said softly.

"Steph let your Nanny hold Harley." I said yawning.

"Oh dear...You must be exhausted." Rosemary said.

"A little bit." I mumbled. "I apparently had a two hour power nap." I said and she laughed.

"I bet you did...Having two your first time." She said and Stephen finally handed Harley over starting to relax slowly.
