I don't know why I let him walk me home but I did. I guess my wolf craved the attention of her mate. Just because I rejected him doesn't mean my wolf did.
With a sigh a turned off the warm, comforting stream of water and stepped out of the shower. I wrapped a fluffy red towel around my body and walked into my room. I threw on black NIKE sweatpants, a black NIKE sports bra, and a teal NIKE muscle tank top. I slipped my hair into a ponytail and walked downstairs to find Justin sitting on my couch.
"What the hell are you doing in my house?" I questioned angrily. I instinctively crossed my arms and tensed up.
"I'm staying here until we know that Ryan is out of the territory." He replied bluntly, still flipping through the channels. I walked over and snatched the remote from his hand, turning off the TV.
"I don't need you protecting me Justin. I'm a big girl now. Get out before you leave in pieces." I was dead serious. My wolf really needed a good fight. I had other reasons for him to leave besides him intruding.
"Actually yes you do Tatum. He's more powerful than you think. You also can't carry me out in pieces because I am stronger than you." He taunted me.
With that I snapped and jumped for him, claws unsheathed and aimed for his neck. Before I could get a good grip, he grabbed my arms and pushed me off of him, standing in the process. I landed with a thud but quickly jumped on my feet again. My eyes glowed bright green and my canine teeth shimmered in the dim light of the room. It took years to master being in half shift. Only the werewolf king and queen can do it. I guess I'm an acception to this power.
Justin stared with wide eyes for a second before growling an authoritive growl. I didn't even blink before attacking him again with a snarl. I managed to pin him on the ground before he flipped us over. One of his hands kept both of mine restrained above my head while the other had me gently pinned by the neck. He steaddled my hips to keep me from moving before letting out a loud roar, his eyes glowing their alpha red. My wolf finally responded to his authority and shifted back, whimpering in submission.
When I looked up at Justin, I found him staring at me. I couldn't help but stare back in his eyes. Before I could tell him to get off, he pressed his lips to mine in a kiss filled with so many emotions. Passion, love, longing, and, most of all, regret and guilt. I couldn't control myself when I kissed him back.
He pulled away a few seconds later with a look of regret and...fear on his face. His eyes scanned over my face for a brief moment before he jumped up away from me.
"I-I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to. I...have to go." He stuttered before dashing out the door.
"Justin, wait!" I shouted after him. I made it to the door to find he was nowhere in sight.
I knew why he looked fearful.
He was afraid I'd reject him again.
