Dabi turns to face the now-locked door.

“I’m not even fucking surprised anymore.  What the hell is with this stench?”

“That, my dear sinner, is this room’s surprise!  So, listen closely if you don’t want to die!” Izuku gets closer to the television as the man continues.  “This chamber is airtight -- nothing gets in, nothing gets out, and STOP TRYING TO CHANGE THE CHANNEL!”

“It was worth a shot,” Izuku shrugs.  “But what about oxygen?”

“Trust me, you won’t be needing oxygen in here,” the voice says ominously, “Because I’ll be filling it with something very special.  Poison gas!”

“What kind of Saw shit is this?”

“That’s rude, and not at all correct!” The man steams.

“Actually, I think he’s right,” Izuku adds, “It kind of is like Saw.”

“No, it’s not!  Now shut your mouths, or I won’t explain the puzzle!”  A silence, and the man’s collected demeanor is back. “Now, as I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, this room will fill with poison gas!  But it won’t kill you immediately -- No, there’s still a way out! But it won’t be easy. Either way, I’ve decide to be generous, and give you a gas mask!”  A spotlight shines on a table.

“A single gas mask,” Izuku repeats.  “Does it even work?”

“Shit looks like it’s gonna break if we touch it,” Dabi adds.

“What, would you rather I leave you with nothing?  You should thank me, you ungrateful sinners. Now, I don’t feel like watching you two struggle for days on end, so I’m setting a time limit.  It was an hour, but because you two are so rude, it’s now thirty minutes.”

“Wow, fuck you too!”

“What, would you like it to be fifteen?”

Dabi remains quiet.

“That wasn’t so hard, was it?  Once the time limit is over, I’ll put in a stronger gas -- a gas so strong that mask won’t even work!  Your deaths will be quick and painless -- Lucky you! This stuff is expensive, so be sure to appreciate it!  Now, have fun, my shining sinners!” The screen turns off.

“Great, now what?” Dabi groans.  Izuku looks around the room, eyes settling on what appears to be a withered corpse.

“He said there was a way out.  And it’s a puzzle -- that body probably has to do with it.  I’ll investigate it -- can you grab the mask?” Izuku walks over to the corpse, crouching down next to it.  There seems to be some writing on the ground next to it, as well as some sort of pattern that looks to go underneath it…
