(After a small slumber Stacey wakes up and immediately looks at the time. She makes a sigh of relief to know that it's only 8 pm. She opens the door of her room and walks towards the kitchen where she finds Fred cooking something)

Fred: Had a good nap kiddo?

Stacey: Yeah, my headache is gone. Dad I'm sorry. You were right I shouldn't have asked a complete stranger for help.

Fred: No kiddo it's not your fault. It's me. I'm always running away from my responsibilities of being a complete dad. I know kiddo I'm not a really good father. If I was good enough your mom wouldn't have left me. I don't know how to spend time with teenagers and how to handle them I'm sorry.

Stacey: No, dad. You are a great father. At least you didn't leave me. Like mom, she could have my custody but she became selfish.

Fred: I agree that a girl can be more comfortable with her mom but honey you shouldn't be saying that for your own mother.

Stacey: But it's the truth right? As long as she's happy... At least one if us is enjoying.

Fred: Ok leave this topic I'm making pasta, just wait 10 minutes and it will be ready. Hey kiddo why don't you try checking out the library? I cleaned it for you.
( Stacey smiles at her dad )

Stacey: ok.
(Stacey climb the stairs and turn left for the library. She check's out other rooms too which are mostly bed room's. Stacey opens the door to the library and her eyes starts glimmering to see all the shelves which are filled with books. Stacey sees some old boxes but doesn't have the strength to go through them. She starts roaming from shelves to shelves looking for a book to read and picks out a novel. Stacey feels so happy, it's like a dream come true for her. The smell of books surrounds her and then a shouting voice of her father calls for her to eat the dinner. Stacey rushes down the stairs and tell Fred that she found a book to read!)

Fred: That's awesome kiddo. Hey, I totally forgot about your school!

Stacey: I wish, you would have forgotten it for a long time. (Stacey says in a sarcastic manner)

Fred: I will go tomorrow to get the forms and all the other stuff.

Stacey: Yeah ok. Take as long as you want, no one is pressuring you.

( Stacey takes her plate and rushes into the room. She excitedly open the book and instantly notice that it is a signed novel. She checks the authors signs but it isn't theirs. She thinks about it for a second and then starts reading. And just like that Stacey falls asleep. A week has been passed since Stacey and her father shifted in this house, it's a Sunday night and tomorrow is Stacey's first day at her new school. Stacey is nervous about it, she never liked being the new kid. Stacey has already packed her bag. She picks out the outfit she's going to wear. Stacey proudly looks at her study table to see the 5 books she has already finished from the library.

She was quite fascinated when she saw the same sign in the other books. She simply ignored them and enthusiastically finished the books. Stacey again heads towards the library, to pick a book and promises herself to not to finish the book in one night this time. Stacey enters the library and sees hundreds of books, but still confused what to read. Stacey looks at the old boxes and decides to go through them. She finds classic novels like, Romeo and Juliet in there. Some old pen and a few old stamps. In the end Stacey picks an old dusty diary. Stacey is grossed with how dirty it is. Suddenly Fred starts calling for Stacey and yells that Stacey's mother is on the line. Stacey run with the diary in her hand and rushes down the stairs to pick the phone )

Stacey: Hey mom. How are you ?

Mom: Hey, honey. I'm fine. How are you ? Made any new friends ?

Stacey: Not yet.

Mom: Dont worry honey you will surely make some good friends.

(Stacey and her mother talks for a while then her mother hangs up. Stacey walks in her room with the old diary still, in her hand. She tosses the diary on her study table and Stacey falls on her bed and thinks to herself. "Stacey darling, it's going to be just fine. It will be over before you know it! So just calm down. It will be quite fun. You will be all mysterious for them just like an anime character." After encouraging herself stacey falls asleep early because she knows that a really hectic day awaits for her tomorrow. Stacey wakes up to the sound of her alarm, which she finds extremely irritating. Stacey has never been a morning person and doesn't like being disturbed from her slumber. But because having a strong sense of punctuality, Stacey forces herself from her warm and comfortable bed to get ready for the first, day of school. She rushes to the bathroom, to take a long shower with hot water so she can be fully active. Stacey comes out with a towel wrapped around her body and start dressing herself in the outfit she already prepared for today. She ties her long, attractive caramel colored hair and applies an old strawberry gloss and a lotion to moisturize her skin. She picks up her glasses and puts them on. Her green eyes looks spectacular behind the glasses. It certainly gives a nice look, Stacey says to herself. Stacey moves towards her study table to pick up her bag and then notices the diary she found yesterday from the library. Stacey picks up the diary and when she starts opening it, a shouting voice of her dad starts calling for her. She instantly opens her bag and throws the diary inside. Stacey rushes towards the kitchen for breakfast.)
