Deep down she knows it can be possible, she wants to clear her thoughts. Stacey hates being in situations like this, where she has to decide on a tough decision. Stacey says to herself " Stacey you are wrong! If you don't belief that you are wrong, then why don't you go there and check for yourself"
Stacey reluctantly, starts walking towards the cemetery. She notice that there aren't many gravestones. So, it would be easy. Stacey starts walking to gravestones to gravestones. Saying the names on it.
" Julia, Robert, Christopher, Nolan, Alex, Geor-" Stacey takes a step backwards, to read the second last gravestones name again. "Rest in peace, Alex Williams, from 1923 - 1999." Stacey's hands starts shaking. The thing she deep down feared the most, has happened. She already somehow had an idea, but didn't wanted to know that it was true. Stacey stands there aimlessly, when she hears some footsteps behind her. Stacey turns around to find an old skinny lady who is standing behind her. A skinny lady, sparkling gray eyes and golden blonde hair. The old lady walks closer to the gravestone.)The old lady: I have never seen, someone here in years other than me. Good to know that young generation also likes to pay a visit, to the dead.
Stacey: Umm, yeah I will be leaving.
The old lady: Don't go, honey. Stay. You should pay your respect to the dead, properly.
Stacey: Yes.
The old lady: This is the gravestone of my beloved, husband. But tell me Stacey, what brings you here?
Stacey: Wait, a- are you Elizabeth?
Elizabeth: So, you do know other words other then yes.
Stacey: You are Elizabeth, right?
Elizabeth: Yes, dear. I'm.
Stacey: I never thought, that we would meet.
Elizabeth: But certainly i did.
(Stacey is surprised, she doesn't know what else to say. Stacey doesn't want to give away the diary. It's the only thing she has of her first and true love.)
Elizabeth: I spent a great life, with him. His death surely effected me allot emotionally. Like I was left alone in this cruel world. But whenever I saw my grandson, it made me feel like Alex is still with me. My grandson is the mirror image of his grandfather Alex.
(Stacey realizes that, she doesn't have any right to have the diary. She tells herself that, it always belonged to Elizabeth and will be hers even no, matter how many times Stacey writes her name on the diary. It would never be hers. And that If she really love Alex, she should make his love happy. So, that he may feel happy. Stacey hesitantly takes out the diary from behind her back.)
Stacey: I think, I have something. That belongs to you. ( Stacey gives the diary to Elizabeth. She takes the diary and opens It. Her eyes starts getting watery)
Elizabeth: Thank you, Stacey. You don't know, how much it means to me.
Stacey: Your wel- wait, How do you know my name?! I never told it to you.
Elizabeth: Yes, it's because...
( Both Elizabeth and Stacey hears a familiar voice)
The familiar voice: Hey, grandma. How are you?
Elizabeth: There he is, my beloved grandson.
( Someone grabs, Stacey's hands from behinds just like In her dream. Stacey enthusiastically turn around to see who he is, Stacey's eyes widen. Just like someone is playing the dream again. For her surprise it no one other than..)
Stacey: I can't believe this! ANDREW?!
Eren: Yeah same, why are you here? Grandma, this is Stacey. Remember I showed you her photo?
Elizabeth: And that's how, I know you honey.
Stacey: What's happening?!
Andrew: Stace, she is my grandma and the current owner of your house.
Elizabeth: Darling, why don't you drop your friend to her house? She looks quite shocked.
( Andrew and Stacey starts walking, leaving Elizabeth alone with her beloved and his memories)
Stacey: I'm still confused! You are her grandson? Meaning you are the mirror image of your grandfather?
Andrew: Yeah, I guess I never told you that my last name is Williams.
Stacey: That's how you knew the correct address to my house, that's how you knew the way to the restroom, that's why Eren said that, that's the reason we knew each other from the beginning!
Andrew: Yeah, but I'm still confused. What were you doing with my grandma?
Stacey: You don't need to know that.
Andrew: Oh, come on stace!
Stacey: Just leave it.
Stacey and Andrew both walks down the hill together. Andrew keeps asking Stacey out of curiosity that what was she doing there with her grandma. Stacey still not answering him and making fun of his confusion walks down the hill. A sudden thought hits her that everything connects here! Her coming here and then her running into Andrew. Then reading the diary and falling in love with it. Exploring the hill point meeting Elizabeth giving her the diary then seeing Alex's grandson who is actually Andrew. It's like a fairy tale or something she thinks. But it's pretty clear that every dot is connected to each other. Like it was meant to be. That everything that has happened yet, was for a reason. Stacey's first love will always be Alex but then she realizes that he may not be her's ''True love''. But love isn't perfect itself. Like everything else, there are exceptions in love too. Loving in an unusual way, Stacey learned that she has experienced her exceptions of love.
And the story ends here.
