Michelle stood by her locker, waiting to meet Peter as he arrived at school. The rest of the weekend had been tense for everyone. Many people had seen the news and were all curious about who murdered the woman and left her with a horrifying and even more mysterious message, 'I will find you'. None however were as tense as Peter was.

He had spoken to her the night before, and explained that he was pretty certain that the death of the man who was caught in the net, and this woman's mysterious death were linked, and that it was clear that someone was looking to hurt him.

When the woman's death was further investigated, the police were baffled to discover that no fingerprints, DNA, or trace of any kind was found on her or where she lived. All that was discovered was that she died from suffocation while being strangled.

Michelle shook her head and tried not to think about how chaotic everything was becoming, especially when the trip was so close. She looked up and immediately spotted Peter, walking with his head down, his eyes distracted and unfocused. "Peter," she called out, but he gave no outward reaction. "Peter!" She called again, this time louder. Finally, he lifted his head and spotted her. He walked over to her. "Hey."

"You okay?" He nodded, "Yeah, just a little...distracted." She sighed and touched his shoulder, "Come on, class starts soon." Together they walked in silence through the halls, passing everyone without drawing attention to themselves. When they arrived at class, Ned was already waiting for them. "Hey, I saved your seats." Michelle smiled, "Thanks Ned." When they sat down Ned immediately started talking to Peter about some new awesome Lego set that is supposed to come out soon, clearly to distract Peter, and to Michelle's relief it was working.

By the time school finished Peter seemed a little more relaxed and less on-edge. "Do you guys want to head back to my place for a bit? We can do our homework for chemistry together" Ned suggested. "Sure," Michelle and Peter said in unison. They started to walk together towards Ned's Apartment, and after around ten minutes they each looked up towards the sky. "Crap, it's raining," Michelle said, "Come on lets hurry." Ned and Peter nodded before they started running. The cold rain started to fall on their heads, and Michelle could feel her shirt began sticking to her skin.

After a few more minutes of running they finally made it to Ned's apartment, barging into the lobby. "Phew. That was close. Look it just started pouring down!" Ned said, pointing outside. "Hopefully we don't get sick, cause it's pretty cold out and we got stuck in the rain." Michelle pointed out. "Good point. Let's get inside and warm up," Peter suggested. They went upstairs and entered Ned's apartment. "Hey Ned, have you got some clothes we can borrow?" Peter asked. "Good idea, we should get out of these soaking wet clothes."

Ned disappeared into his room, leaving Michelle and Peter alone in his living room. Peter turned to look at her, and she watched as his eyes widened, his cheeks turned bright pink and then turned away from her. "What?" He didn't say anything, but he pointed to her chest. Oh god please don't tell me my shirt...crap. Her shirt had stuck to her skin, and to make things worse, she was wearing a white shirt, meaning that her bra was completely visible. She grabbed the sides of her jacket and pulled it across her. Well, at least he was respectful and looked away.

"This is kinda embarrassing," she admitted. "Ned! Where are those clothes?!" Peter called out. "Coming!" He came running out of his room with some old Star Wars T-Shirts and sweatpants for them both to wear, and he too had already changed clothes. "You guys get changed and I can put your clothes in the dryer." Michelle smiled, "Thanks, Ned. I'll change in the bathroom." She grabbed a T-shirt and pair of sweatpants and dashed to the bathroom before she further embarrassed herself. As she locked the door she sighed heavily and looked at herself in the mirror. Wow. It's really noticeable. UUuuuhhhhhhH great.

She pulled off her wet jacket and T-shirt and changed into the clothes Ned grabbed her. They were very old and a bit baggy but comfortable. Suddenly a knock came at the door. "Yeah?" she asked. "It's me. Are you changed?" She reached forward and unlocked the door, opening it to reveal Peter standing nervously, Ned's clothes baggy on him as well. "Everything alright?" He nodded, "Yeah, I just wanted to talk to you." Michelle stood to the side, allowing room for him to walk in, "Okay."

He stepped in and after she closed the door they sat down on the floor, her against the cabinet under the sink and him against the wall behind the door. Because the bathroom was relatively big there was enough room for them both to sit without being uncomfortable. This isn't weird at all. Just sitting with my boyfriend...on the bathroom floor...in our friends apartment...wearing his clothes.......yeah just your average Monday night!

"What did you want to talk about?" She asked, not wanting to create more awkward tension. He shrugged, "Well, mainly I just wanted to apologise for before, and um, ask if your okay?" A smile appeared on her face. Aww that's sweet. "You don't need to apologise, and yeah, I'm fine. Thanks." He smiled back at her. "You know, I'm honestly glad that you were the one who noticed it first, cause I would have been really embarrassed if it was someone else." His eyes widened, "Really?" She nodded, "Yeah, I mean, your my boyfriend so better you than someone else."

"How are you feeling about everything that has been going on?" She asked him after a moment, having been wondering about how he was all day. He sighed heavily, and she just noticed the dark circles and bags under his eyes. He must be pretty exhausted. "I mean, I'm okay but just really worried about everything cause I don't know who is doing all this, why they are after me or what they may do next. It's just really stressing me out I guess." Michelle stared at him, before she stood up and went to sit beside him. She turned her body so she was facing him and then wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

He hesitated before finally relaxing into her, turning his body so they were both more comfortable and sliding his hands around her waist. "Thanks," he whispered gently into her ears. She smiled and pulled back so that she could see his face. He still looked exhausted, but a little brighter than he was before. "You're welcome." His dark puppy dog eyes stared at her, looking at each part of her face, stopping on her lips, and as she started to blush, he suddenly leaned forward and connected his lips with hers.

Butterflies in her stomach danced and she felt like she was dancing over a rainbow upon a cloud of tranquility. She closed her eyes and kissed him back, his soft lips moving slowly and gently over hers. His hand came up and he cupped the side of her cheek and pulled her impossibly closer. She loved the feeling and sighed into his mouth. The kiss started to become more passionate. Michelle didn't know what came over her, but she took a chance and bit his lip. A sound escaped his throat that send shivers and pinpricks down her spine. Then he did it back to her, and she felt her whole being melt. Then Ned busted the door open like James Bond and looked down at them as they scrambled away from each other in disappointment. "I leave you two alone for two minutes, and then this happens... come out and have some of the pizza I ordered."

Both blushing like crazy, they helped each other stand up and walked out incredibly embarrassed. "S-sorry, Ned," Peter said as they sat down on the couch. Michelle couldn't help but think he was cute being all embarrassed. "Don't worry about it. Just next time...maybe lock the door or tell me that you were planning on making out on my bathroom floor so I can be forewarned." Both of them flushed red again but chuckled. "Come on, let's eat pizza and do our homework."
