"Talia I swear to god if you don't stop moving around I will personally make you sit still," Beck turned to his sister staring her down.
"I'd like to see you try shithead," Talia retaliated. They had been traveling from Prague to London on train and it was starting to really affect the Wolfe's, some more than others. Lilith was too busy worrying about Peter to even bother with her brother and sister's antics.
"Can you please shut up! We're already in London Beck, you started complaining too late," MJ finally grew annoyed noticing that their bickering wasn't helping Lili calm down either and decided to take matters into her own hands.
The Midtown students stepped off the train, and to be honest, they all looked like they had seen better days. "Okay, the company set up a city tour, and then we'll grab a bite and head to the airport," Mr. Harrison informed his students his previous enthusiasm nowhere to be seen.
Brad stopped and looked around in disbelief, "Is no one else gonna acknowledge how crazy this is?"
"Oh, yeah, I get it. There's been nothing scientific about this science tour at all," Mr. Dell complained.
"No, no, I'm talking about Peter. Has no one noticed how shady he is? Because I saw him in the backroom of a rest stop with some woman in his underwear, and he's always sneaking away, like back at the opera, huh? And now he's suddenly off the trip, with his family in Berlin. Is no one else here interested in the truth?" Brad went on with his rant about Peter making the Wolfe siblings including Ned and MJ all look at each other confused. Talia took matters into her own hands.
"Look Chad," She began getting his name wrong on purpose in order to annoy the boy even more.
Brad rolled his eyes, "It's Brad."
Talia sarcastically smiled, "Yeah I really don't care. Look you talking about a person who isn't here really speaks on levels about who you are and where your priorities lie. Peter isn't here to tell his truth, but you are here. So what about you, Brad? Because my sister told me you came up to her with a picture of Peter in the bathroom. Why do you think it's cool to take pictures of people in the bathroom?"
Lilith's eyes narrowed trying to stifle a laugh. Flash spoke from the back his phone out streaming the whole confrontation live to his followers, "Yeah, dude, what's that about?"
"No, no, no it wasn't like that. It was... I was trying to take..." Brad tried to explain not being able to because he was put on the spot.
Mr. Harrison intervened, "Uh let's put all this craziness behind us and have a nice, peaceful afternoon."
Beck smiled proud of his little sister, "You just got owned by a 14-year-old. How does that feel?" he asked as he walked away hugging both of his sisters. The rest of the class following along.
"Hey, you've been awfully quiet, what's wrong?" Beck finally asked Lilith letting her get on the sightseeing bus first.
Lilith sighed looking out and around London, it seemed peaceful, but deep down she knew that something was awfully wrong.
ϟ ϟ ϟ ϟ Author's note So this chapter was on the shorter side because i'm working on the last two chapters of this story. I'm feeling all the emotions while writing them and I really want to make them good and worth the read. Hopefully I achieve. Enjoy!
