it has been a full week and hoseok was sitting at a small corner, worried as hell about the man that he hasn't seen since the hug. he was beyond worried and he's been asking everyone if they knew something but no one was saying anything, they couldn't.
"hey...hoseok, can you come in here?" a manager from the place called out for him. hoseok looked up at him and could see that he needed to take something off his chest. hoseok quickly got off his bum and entered the office in hopes that he gets answers.
"so i've been getting news that you've wanted to know about what happened to our boss?" the manager asked the younger boy. hoseok nodded his head in a hurry with his eyes staring deeply in the man's eyes to get to his soul and make the process quicker.
the man sighed and placed his elbows on the desk and looked hoseok dead in the eyes, "they took him."
hoseok couldn't express his shocked face. after that experiment a week back, he couldn't show his emotions as easily if not at all. hoseok was quiet despite the difficulty of expression. "he's not coming back for a month."
"hopefully after all of this ends, we'll go back to normal an—" before the man could finish his sentence, there was a sudden loud noise coming from the front doors and everyone started screaming and running. they were all running away from the danger that was upon them.
"this is the police!"
everyone there were taught that the police were bad people. if there was a police officer questioning you, you're better off dead. there were no words to describe people's horrible fear of the law informance. everyone there had some sort of involvement of those innocent people being ended. every single person in the building and they knew; so they ran. the police were running after everyone but there were so many people for a couple of officers to stop them. so they started using their handy dandy friend, the gun.
hoseok heard gunshots being fired constantly as he ran with the crowd. he saw his friends collapse from the pain of the bullet and others cried for their family. hoseok knew why the police were there but it took a long time to actually process it. he just knew the reason.
hoseok saw a small exit door on the opposite side of the hallway but it could be risky if he doesn't get through it in time before bullets enter his organs. but he took the risk.
luckily, just in time, he got through the small exit and he was safe for a moment. they were going to check the roof no doubt so hoseok needed to think quick. the stairs on the side of the building was the only choice but they were so fragile.
hoseok used his strong arms to swing down the stairs and soon enough, he reached the concrete floor. hoseok went through the forest in the back and he just ran. he ran far away from that place. the place where he grew up and learned everything about life. where he took his first steps and spoke his first words; were being destroyed as he ran.
