the door to the break room was harshly opened by an exhausted male holding his small brown paper lunch bag. he scanned the room for anyone and there was only one person there, rolling his eyes because he doesn't have the room to himself. he slowly made his way to his regular spot in which he spends all his days during work. he threw his lunch on the table and harshly sat down with a large sigh once again.

the day still had five hours left, making the man even more exhausted. he just sat there as if he was waiting for someone or something.

then, out of nowhere, a taller and slimmer man opens the door with a much more positive attitude, an even larger smile was plastered on his dimpled face. he quickly made his way to the other man's side to hug him and cheer him up. he was doing what he does everyday in hopes that one day the man would play along with him and smile with him.

"how's your day, jinnie?" the happy man asked with hope. the other man didn't say anything except give a deep glare at him. "i'm assuming not good?"

"really?! how did you guess?" seokjin asked with a tone of sarcasm in his voice. the other man didn't say anything else after that. he just left seokjin to his own space and waited for him to start eating, but he didn't.

"joon...do you know who that is?" seokjin asked while pointing to the unknown boy on the other side of the room. namjoon looked up from his sandwich to see who it was, immediately knowing who it was.

"that's our new co-worker. his name is hoseok. i gave him a tour of the place along with some other guy, he should be here any moment," namjoon whispered the information into seokjin's ear. seokjin looked at hoseok with soft eyes while the other whispered, taking in a small interest in the other boy.

before seokjin could say anything else, the door suddenly opened, revealing a smaller male walking toward the boy across the room. he said some things to him and took a hold of his wrist and made him leave the room, leaving seokjin and namjoon alone.

seokjin rolled his eyes after the two left the room, "he's the other new guy," namjoon said.

namjoon smiled while admiring seokjin's facial features. seokjin ignored him, he already knows that namjoon likes him. he made it SO obvious, it's not funny. instead of confronting namjoon about the obvious crush, he uses it to his advantage. he knows that namjoon will do anything for him to try to impress him but sometimes nothing works to catch seokjin's feelings. maybe it's not time.

seokjin did, however, catch a little spark when he saw the boy. his facial features were soft and his hair looked so soft that the urge to mess it all up was strong. catching feelings was one thing but it wasn't really like that. it's hard to explain but...seokjin somehow liked looking at the boy. he liked his presence.

it was like that for the next few weeks. seokjin couldn't take his eyes off the new worker. he was confused as to why he didn't hate him though. all the other newcomers were cute and wanted to know more about seokjin but he rejected all of them. but for some reason, the new guy didn't even bat an eye at him. he felt like he wasn't good enough for some reason. he had a whole man crushing on him yet he felt like the only guy he cared about, could care less about him.

that's why he decided to walk hoseok home on the day yoongi called in sick.
