The knights of Odera as Arthur knew them were walked into the throne room. They wanted to explain that they were looking for the missing crown prince. They also knew that he was hiding using magic to hide his true appearance. They also knew that he was at the battle of Camalann a few years back. They knew this because of the druid stories. He would be a close adviser to The Once and Future King. That was Artuthr, so who advised them. They also explained that Odera was a kingdom that let magic run through it. They explained the reason that their prince would hide his face. He was also an immortal warlock so even if you tried to kill him he would come back a few hours later. His name would be Emrys.
The marks on his face would be similar to a dragon now according to the kingdom he was in.
The knights themselves also had magic and they could reach out with it to see if they could find his magical signature.
Merlin hadn't thought that his knights had developed magic. If that was the case, William, the knight who was talking would have to tell Artuthr that they found their prince in the very room that their were in.
He would have to reveal himself to Arthur. He would have to explain himself. He would have to explain that he had only used his magic here with permission from his father to protect him at all times.
It was time to create an alliance with Camelot.
