Best friend (True story)

"Are you still lurking in that app?"

"What's wrong with Facebook Lisa?" Jisoo asked irritably as she keeps scrolling through her timeline.

"People nowadays are into Instagram and Twitter and yet, here you are still stuck in that damn app." Lisa told her with a shrug and took a glance at her best friend. "What's with the face?" She asked when she saw Jisoo's face frowning while staring at her phone.

"Someone waved at me in Messenger."

"And? Just ignore it if you don't know that person."

Jisoo shook her head. "Nah, I'm not that kind of person who'll ignore people and left them on read."

Lisa let out a deep sigh while shaking her head slowly. "You're really kind Chu, sometimes I'm thinking why am I friends with you, when in fact we do have an opposite attitude."

Jisoo flashed her bright smile and ended up in giggles, she crawled into Lisa's side, wrapping her arms on the blonde's waist. "You're much kind than me Lisa-yah, it's just that, you ignore people that has nothing to do with your life unlike me, but that doesn't mean that I'm kinder than you."

"I still don't understand why are you entertaining people that you don't even know."

"Because.." Jisoo trails off and sat straight, untangling herself away from her best friend. "The more people you'll meet all throughout your life, the more knowledge you'll get, for example, what if this person who just messaged me needs a friend or stranger to share her miserable life, it'll be two birds in one stone."

Lisa furrowed her brows and looked at her best friend quizzically. "What do you mean by that?"

"If she just want someone to talk to, I'll listen, and give some advice or help her, that's the first bird, helping people is my favorite thing to do, second bird is, I can learn from her, if something like her problem come through me, then I know what will I do."

"But that's still doesn't even make a sense, why do you have to help people that you don't know? Why do you have to waste time helping those people if they can easily ask help from their friends or family?"

Jisoo chuckled. "Helping people that you didn't know or not related on you is not in law, help as much as you can, help as much those people until they can stand on the ground after stumbling down, come to think of it, why did you help me when those kids back then are bullying me?"

"Because you need help?"

"Exactly!" Jisoo exclaims, throwing her arms in the air. "See? You didn't even know me but you did still helped me because I need a help."

Lisa rolled her eyes, she knew she was defeated on their little arguments because whatever she'll rebut, Jisoo knows how to retaliate.

"Fine fine, just don't let people abused you're kindness or I will hunt them down and slit their throats." Lisa warns as she stood up from the bed and starts walking towards the door.

"Where are you going?" Jisoo asked.

"Home, there's still errands I have to run."

"What about our date?" Jisoo asked again with a pout and crossed her arms.

Lisa laugh throatily and walked back to Jisoo. "I told you, we'll hangout tomorrow and did I heard it right? You said it's a date?"

"Why? Best friends also do dates."

"Oh I thought we're going to date for real, I'm still in a friend zone then?" Lisa utter, acting like she was offended while clutching her chest.

"Haha funny Lisa." Jisoo faked a laugh and rolled her eyes. "Just go home before I could kick your ass out of our house."
