Chapter 1) E.N.D

It's dark. So very dark. What happened? I can't remember anything. Where am I? Wait. . . Never mind that. . . What's my name? Etherious? No that's not right. Natsu? Ugh, that doesn't sound right either. E.N.D? Yeah, that must be it. Or at least, I hope it is.

"You're pretty pathetic. I can't believe you're the other half of me." A cold and deep voice suddenly called out, startling the already confused E.N.D

"Who said that!?" E.N.D demanded, noticing that his voice sounded a little less demonic than the previous voice, but more smooth and slightly deep.

"You're paranoid too? Man this sucks."

"Tell me who you are!" E.N.D demanded.

"I'm you. Unfortunately." The voice answered with carelessness.

"What happened? Where are we?"

"Why should I tell you anything? Even if I knew what happened I wouldn't tell someone as pathetic as you. We're the same being, same person. Which means I know just as much about everything you know, which obviously isn't anything."

"So. . . You don't remember anything either?"

"All I DO remember is that I HATE humans with all my shriveled up heart! And you're pretty annoying so I might put you on the same level as them."

"How comforting. ." E.N.D mumbled sarcastically. "Do you at least know where we are?"

"Welcome to the Mind-Scape."

"The Mind-Scape?"

"Isn't that what I just fucking said?"

"You're gonna be a real fun person to work with aren't you?" E.N.D questioned sarcastically.

"What gave you that idea? The fact that I couldn't care less about what happens to you? Or the fact that I'm pure evil since our personalities were split and you're the nice one?" The Other shot back with his equally sarcastic comment.

"I'll just take that as a yes and leave it at that. Talking with you gives me a headache."

"The hell did you say you bastard!?"

"You have ears don't you? Use 'em." He didn't know why, but E.N.D felt the need to be disrespectful to this voice. For some reason it felt appropriate.

"You'd be wise as to not start a fight with me."

"Really? I see no harm in doing so. Besides, I don't have anything else to do."

After that statement, E.N.D was greeted with a low threatening growl.

"Temper temper." He quietly mocked, knowing full well that The Other heard.

At that moment, E.N.D could hear more voices. Ones that actually sound human. They seemed distant and muffled, and sounded like they were arguing.

E.N.D decided it would be best to wake up, although that action was easier said than done. After a few minutes of struggles and The Other telling him to give up, he was finally able to force his eyes to slowly open. Once they did, he could see humans arguing above him. Albeit he was laying down on his side and his left hand was curled up into a weak and lazy fist in front of his face. His hand was covered in dark red scaled and had sharp claws, he eventually put together that he was in fact a demon. He had the sneaking feeling but he needed to be sure.
