Saturday came around and Sara was ready to go. Her mom has been overprotective lately, more than ever. Sara began packing up her bag. 'Two pairs of pajamas and three outfits.' She mumbled to herself. She had packed a few hoodies, some jeans, and with some print leggings. Then, she heard a knock at the door. 'Perfect timing!' She ran to the door and then there was Alice, she was wearing running shoes opposed to the usual fashion boots that she typically wore. Soon enough, they were in Alice's mother's car, on their way to the campsite. 'So, what should i expect, anyway?' Sara asked shyly. 'Well, firstly.' She paused. 'We need to pitch the tent, and set up camp.' She continued. 'Then, when it gets dark out, we tell ghost stories and legends!' Alice seemed pumped about the ghost stories, Sara was not too sure... 'What kind of ghosts?' she asked politely. 'You'll see later.' she stopped, starting to make a stern expression. 'rumor has it, the spirits come with us on these expeditions and camping trips.' Alice then started giggling. 'just kidding.' she laughed. 'I don't believe in that silly stuff.' she said, looking at Sara still laughing at the gullible expression on her face. 'it's not funny.' Sara giggled, her face going bright red. She playfully pushed Alice to the side gently.      'so, what do you like to do while out camping?' Alice inquired. 'What kind of stuff do you do?' Sara looked away for a second. 'It's been a long time since I've been camping...' she thought. 'Dad died,  and we haven't went ever since...' she looked back over at Alice and she asked, 'Are you okay, Sara?' she asked. 'what? Oh, yeah. I'm fine!' she said, followed by a nervous laugh. She rubbed the back of her head and looked down. 'doesn't look like it.' Alice said. 'what's wrong?' she asked with empathy in her eyes. 'I'm just... Thinking.' Sara said. 'I'm trying to figure out why my dad died–' she said trying to hold back an anxiety attack. 'I just wish i could know more about–' she started being interrupted by Alice. 'Your dad died!?' she asked, trying to comfort her by putting a hand on her shoulder. 'Yeah... That's why my mom was a bit of a jerk when it came to getting her to let me come with you 'cause he died at a camping trip.' Sara said trying to keep holding back the tears, but having an inability to. Surely enough, tears came streaming out. 'are we almost there?' she asked, wiping her tears away from her now puffy and red eyes. 'Yeah.' Alice said, pointing to a sign that hung above a thin path, just big enough to fit a car through. 'We are just pulling up to the grounds– our site is number fifteen.' Alice smiled and shortly thereafter they were at campsite fifteen. The two girls hopped out of the van and raced to where they were to set up the tent they would be setting up. 'well, this is where we'll sleep, I'll go get the tent!' She exclaimed, running back to the van, popping the trunk and pulling out a tent. 'Alright! I'm coming. Be ready to start!' she began lifting the tent over her shoulder, then proceeding to run back over. 'Okay, you ready?' she asked. 'Yep!' Sara said, helping Alice unzip the bag containing the tent. Then they pulled out the tent and propped it up. 'looks like it's time to pull out everything else from the van!' Alice said. Soon enough, everything was unpacked, and everyone was ready to camp. 'Oh, looks like people are arriving at the campsite!' Sara noticed. Then she saw the one person she was dreading would be there; Donovan. 'Crap! Donovan is here?' Sara asked Alice. She started to notice that there were other kids arriving, but of course, Donovan was the biggest problem. 'This is terrible.' she thought to herself, trying to forget the fact she has to deal with him now. Then it hit her, this is how she'll die... But, was she correct? No... She couldn't be. Donovan wouldn't do that...

Would he?
