Chapter 20 (1 month like whoo?)

*three weeks later*

I'm now one month pregnant, my stomach is just a little bump, it's really cute. Just so cute. Oh My God! I'm so glad I do not have morning sickness anymore.

"Nolan" I called, he turned and looked at me. "What are you doing baby" I asked in a babyish voice, he made a bunch of blubberish noises, I got down on my hands and knees and crawled over to him, I pinched his little chubby cheeks. He hit me, "Nolan Stephen Brunner! You do not hit mommy!" I scoled, I smakced his hand lightly, his eyes went wide and watered up, he began to ball, "over dramatic" I whipered.

I pushed the cart through the grocery store, "Dallas!" Someone called, I turned, "oh god" I muttered, "hey Dallas" they called again, now they stood next to me, "what do you want Gage" I snickered, "I thought we were friends" he smiled, "no we aren't that's a different Gage, your my ratchet ass ex" I snarled, I pushed the cart up the baby section, I picked a few snacks for Nolan, he took them out of my hands, "mumu" he smiled, "what" I asked, "luh ew" he smiled, I smiled wide, "I love you to" I kissed his forehead, "hello? I'm still here" Gage said, "listen, your my ex, my past, I've moved on, obviously, now it's time for you to grow up and stop trying to ruin my life with them sluts" I snickered and walked to the register.

I put Nolan in his car seat, and put away my groceries, I turned and closed the trunk of my car, I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned, "what" I said, "here" Gage said, quickly he leaned in and kissed me in the blink of an eye, I slapped him and spit on his shirt, I got into the car, an locked the door. I have two options, tell Chad, or don't. Tell him. I dialed up his number.

Dallas- "hey baby I know your at work but this is important"

Hun😘- "I'm on brake right now, what is it"

Dallas- "I'm at the grocery store and I just got finished shopping"

Hun😘- "and..."

Dallas- "Gage was there, and I finished putting away the groceries and.."

Hun😘- "what baby"

I burst into tears,

Dallas- "he kissed me"

Hun😘- "are you alright? Is the baby alright? Is the other baby alright?"

Dallas- "yeah"

Hun😘- "I'll be home soon"

Dallas- "ok"

I locked my phone and drove home, tears slid out of my eyes. 'What if's ran through my mind. Once I got home, I pulled Nolan out of his car seat, and grabbed the groceries, I lugged everything in side. Chad sat on the couch, the minute we made eye contact I balled, he ran to me, "hey it's ok, I believe you" he whispers soothingly, I nod, "but, he's everywhere!" I cry, "we'll get a restraining order" he smiles, "I'm terrified, I'm scare to even leave the house" I mumble, my phone rings, I looked down to it, it came across as a unknown, I answered it.

Dallas- "hello"

Unknown- "hello is this Dallas"

Dallas- "yeah"

Unknown- "this is your local hospital"

Dallas- "uhm yeah"

Hospital- "we have some horrible news"

Dallas- "w-what is it"

Hospital- "earlier today there was an accident involving your mother and father"

Dallas- "my step-dad"

Hospital- "we tried getting ahold of you for two hours now"

Dallas- "what happened. what's going on"

Hospital- "we're so sorry for you loss"

Dallas- "loss of who?! What the hell is going on?!"

Hospital- "your mother died of impact, and your father flew out of the windshield and passed, there was a younger lady in the car, Skylynn, I believe her name is"

I lost it, I began to ball, Chad took the phone and finished up the conversation. I stared at Chad in disbelief, "no" I spoke softly, a tear slid down my cheek, "this can't be happening, everything is going perfect, and this happens" I say taking a deep breath, he wraps his arms around me, rubbing my back, "shhh, it's ok" he whispers, "no it's not!" I yell, "I just lost half of my family! I came out of that women's vagina, she deserved to go a better way Chad! She did so much for us!" I scream, Nolan started to wail, "my mother" I whimper. Being a good mother doesn't matter now, nothing does but my last minute with her.

:'(Flashback:'(

"Mom" I cheered, "huh" she asked, "what are some suggestions for baby names" I asked, "what do you mean" she questioned, "I'm pregnant" I squeal.

:'(end of flashback:'(

Hayes' POV

I stood shocked, "nuh-uh" I shaked, I can only imagine how Dallas is taking this news, she's probably shaking in Chad's arms, and Nolan whaling his eyes out behind him.

Fact- I've never been in a car crash.
