The Rabbi comes and starts the Minhah(afternoon service). Tom is amazed by the prayer service and how (y/n) is so focus on praying. After Tefilah, it was time to light the candles. Everyone brings their menorahs to the social and place them on the table covered with aluminum foil and they set up the candles and said the blessings while lighting the candles. Then everyone started sitting and hanging out when the latkes were brought in with applesauce and sour cream. Tom was confused by the sight of everyone getting excited and grabbing all the latkes. They are so delicious that Tom loved them a lot after trying them. He loved the religion.
