Blake pov 5 years before Beacon

     I am walking to the bullheads to join the White Fangs fight in Vale, before I could get on I am stopped by my childhood friend, (Y/N) (L/N), and also a lion faunus.

Blake: (Y/N), please don't make me explain myself again.

(Y/N): Blake I know you believe what you are doing is right, but I am telling you Adam is turning the White Fang into a terrorist group bent on destroying the humans. I am begging you as your best friend, please don't do this.

Blake: *starts tearing up* I'm sorry (Y/N), I want to believe you, but I can't.

(Y/N) gains a saddened look on his face and looks down in failure. I can't say anything to make this better, so I just give him a kiss on his forehead. I look back at him to see him as I get on the bullhead. As we fly away from my home, I start to cry to myself.

Blake: I am so sorry, (Y/N).

Timeskip 2 years later somewhere in Vale

I had sent a letter to my parents telling them I was doing ok and I askes them how (Y/N) was doing. I just got a reply letter today and open it up to read.

Dear Blake,

     Your mother and I are glad that you are doing ok. I just hope it was worth it. A month after you left (Y/N) left Menagerie, we do not know why or how he is doing. But I thought you should know that since you are friends and all. Stay safe and know that mom and I are thinking about you.

Love, Dad

I sit on the bed as I read this and cry again as I believed (Y/N) left because I was being a bad friend and was mad at me for leaving.

Blake: I am so sorry, (Y/N). I hope you are ok. I wish to see you again.

(Y/N) pov unknown location

I had recently started taking odd jobs to not only keep myself going but to improve my fighting skills. My dad always told me that I had the heart of a real lion, brave but caring. I am currently taking down a dozen Beowolves and two Ursai for a village nearby. I take down the Beowolves easily enough, but I heard one of the Ursa crashing towards me I react quickly to avoid it but still get hit by its paw, knocking me into a tree. I get back up and charge at the Ursa and as it goes for a nother swipe I jump above it and bounce off his head. As I do I shoot my gun, (W/N), at the remainig Ursa and knock it back a little before stabbing my claws through its heart killing it instantly. As I turn around the remaining Ursa charges with its mouth open, I catch it and hold it back. As we wrestle for control, I use the Grimms size against it and flip it to the ground and shoot it in the head, killing it. I stand there exhausted, and head back to the village to get paid. As I walk back, I start to wonder about Blake.

(Y/N): I hope your finding everything your looking for. *thoughts* I love you, Blake.

Timeskip three years later

Blake pov

I just cut the engine from the rest of the train cars leaving Adam alone. I realized over the years that (Y/N) was right all along, I just didn't want to believe him. I start thinking about him, as I sit down on the train. As I do, I think about how I basically betrayed my best and only friend. I wipe away tears that started flowing as I think about how he must hate me for leaving. After a little more riding on the train I get off and start heading towards Beacon Academy to try and fix what I started.

(Y/N) pov

I am reading a letter that I recieved, as I read it I get excited because I have been invited to become a student at Beacon Academy. The blacksmith walks in with my weapon.

Blacksmith: There you go all fixed and tuned up. The drum magazine has also been upgraded as thanks for the good you've done for this town.

(Y/N): Good for a faunus anyway, right.

Smithy: No, no, alot of huntsman wouldn't have done what you did based on difficulty alone. I just wish we could pay you more.

(Y/N): Our arrangement was more than what I deserved but thanks anyway for the upgrade.

Smithy: No problem. Where will you go from here?

(Y/N): Well I just got invited to Beacon Academy, so I think that is where I will start.

Smithy: Well, good luck and I meant what I said. The world could use more people like you.

I head out the door and walk to a carriage and pay the driver to take me to Vale. He agrees and we ride off. After a few hours the carriage makes it to Vale. I get off and head for the airship pad as I arrive I pull my hooded cloak over my head to hide my ears. We take off and I notice two people talking excitedly towards eachother, one has black hair with red tips and a red cape, the other a blonde with lilac eyes. We arrive at Beacon and as the airship opens up a blonde guy rushes over to a trash can a pukes. I walk over to see if he was alright, he just raises a thumbs up and walk on. I sigh to myself and say...

(Y/N): Well, the start of a new adventure.
