(Y/N) POV
Blake and I are heading to a local diner, to help Blake relax a little. We get off the bullhead and walk arm in arm into downtown. We stop by a bookstore for a new book series Blake's been itching to read. We then head to the diner and had surf and turf, as well as that cherry pie I mentioned. We happily eat and get ready to leave, then Blake tells me she wants to take a walk in the park. We get to the park and find a tree to sit under. Blake then leans into me as she starts reading, and I just sit there in silence. All of a sudden memories of what really happened the day my dad died start flashing through my head.
Flashback
3rd Person POV
Ever since Blake left, (Y/N) had become very angry and confrontational with the local White Fang on Menagerie. Despite his protests his dad, Richard, had told him that they cannot make war on their own kind.
(Y/N): You can't be serious Father?! The White Fang is making all of the Faunus look bad to the humans and you just want to let them get away with it!
Richard: No son, but there is always another way to do what's right without fighting amongst ourselves.
(Y/N): And what would you have me do, sit here and wait for something bad to happen?! The White Fang is planning to wipe out the human race and in that conflict all of us will be destroyed! I will not sit here and wait for a diplomatic solution, I am going to stop the White Fang before they make corpses of us all!
He storms out of the house and walks down to the market. However, unbeknownst to (Y/N) back at the house Richard is approached by (Y/N)'s mother, Mary.
Mary: You know he's right about the White Fang.
Richard: I know.
Mary: So why hesitate?
Richard: If I took the fight to the White Fang, humanity would only see as another pointless act of violence. One faunus killing another to grab power. The White Fang needs to be stopped by someone who is worthy of the title of leader, an idealist who has a pure heart and unquestionable honor.
Mary: That's why you've been pushing (Y/N) so hard, you believe him to be the one to end the evil within the White Fang.
Richard: I don't just think he is, I know he is the one.
Guard: Sir! SIR!
Richard: What is it.
Guard: A fight's broken out in the market, (Y/N) is down there in the middle of it.
Richard: Son?!
Back with (Y/N), he is fighting five elite members of the White Fang and losing pretty badly. One of them goes for a jumping sidekick, (Y/N) blocks only to get blindsided by a kick to his knee, knocking him to one knee. As another comes in with a sword raised, (Y/N)'s dad jumps in and punches the attacker across the face, causing the others to back off a little. They regain they're composure and Richard fights all of them and seems to hold his own. After awhile of countering and even severly hurting two and killing one, Richard then is grab from behind and stabbed through the heart and shot for good measure. With his dying breath he tells (Y/N).
Richard: Son, run.
(Y/N) fought through the tears and ran to the nearest ship which was disembarking. He then hid in the cargo bay and processed everything that happened.
Flashback Ends
(Y/N) POV
I wake up from the flashback in a cold sweat, and then feel tears running down my face. As I wipe them away, Blake cups her hand on my face and makes me make eye contact with her.
Blake: What really happened that day?
(Y/N): I...I don't want to talk about it. It's best if you don't know.
Blake: Babe, please don't do this. Don't shut me out, please. I am here for you and only you.
(Y/N): I'm sorry.
I just remain silent and head back to Beacon, what I didn't know was that tomorrow would be the beginning of the end.
(A/N): Hey guys, I know this chapter is short, but I couldn't fit what happens next into one chapter so hopefully you understand. Anyways, thanks for the support and I hope you have a great rest of your day. Peace out.
