Slowly and reluctantly, I uncover my face. I blink, close my eyes, and blink again. Streaks of sunlight penetrate the window and blind me. I sit up and rub my knuckles onto my eyes. I stretch my arms above my head and yawn.

"Hey, you finally awake." Someone called out to me and for some reason, it's weirdly familiar.

My eyes darted to my left, sensing the source of the voice to be from none other, Mika. The corner of his mouth turned into that of a grin.

My corpse-like eyes stared back at him, unamused.

(Y/N): "What time is it?" My semi-monotonous voice asked.

Mika then pulls up the sleeves of his dark green bomber jacket and took a look at his too luxurious watch for him to have.

Mika: "Uhhh, It's currently 5 pm." After delivering that information, he then let his sleeve down and covering the watch.

(Y/N): "So that means we close right?" I yawned again.

Mika: "Dunno, probably." He scoffed. "Anyways, got a question that's important."

Intrigued by Mika's question, my lazy eyes looked up to him in a somewhat serious gaze.

(Y/N): "Shoot it, then."

Mika: "So did you get it on with her? " He asked with that stupid face.,

My interest in the conversation immediately plummets after hearing that.

'I was dumb to actually think it would all be a serious talk from him.' I mentally sighed at myself.

(Y/N): "Why do you want to know?" I answered with another question trying to find what's the reason for the out nowhere question.

Mika: "Oh come on! There's nothing wrong with lads asking for their buds relationship." He replied with a relaxed tone in his voice. "And besides you guys are official right?"

(Y/N): "Yea, yea." I lazily replied. "Me and Kaitlyn are dating now."

Mika: "So how's the relationship going to work then." He asked again with a rather curious look on his face. "With you guys being miles away and all."

(Y/N): "Well..." It took me a moment to memorize everything me and Kaitlyn discuss before I left. "We're still going to try to contact each other once in and while I guess." My eyes wandered to the clouds, looking at white fluffy with an apathetic gaze

Mika: "Oh, just the usual long-distance relationship." He responded.

(Y/n): "Yea, something like that." I agreed with him in a dismissive tone.

Just as Mika opened his mouth, a loudspeaker voice announces that we have arrived at our destination and so we immediately got up, took our bags, and left the airbus.

After departing with Mika since he lived in the city. Me and Jaune walked into another airbus that takes us to Beacon.

After entering the airbus and finding a suitable spot to wait for our ferry to arrive at Beacon. I looked around at fellow students that are currently talking to their friends, probably about what did they spent their summer break on.

My eyes mindlessly wander around, seeing and recognizing half of the familiar faces that my eyes saw but someone's face caught the interest of mine or rather two faces.

Yang and Ruby.

My eyes widen as I suddenly felt a hard pounding headache attacked me. The pain felt like someone had taken a knife to my skull. I lean my body to the airbus walls. Squeezing my eyes shut, trying to will the pain to go away. The rest of the world became detached, all I could concentrate on was the pain rooted deep in my head.
