Laura woke up from the knocking sound that came from her door. She sat up on her bed and rubbed her eyes. It was the early hours of the morning and the chill in the wooden room made Laura shiver.

The knocking occurred again.
It had to be her sister Bella again. Bella loved coming early in the morning to have a little chat with Laura before she headed on to her days chores in the house while Bella went off to school. It was their 'catch up time' since they were both too busy to talk much through out the day.

"Come in Bella", Laura whispered.
The door opened and in stepped Bella with a story book in her hand. She walked over to Laura and handed the book to her.

"What is this Bella? Do you want me to read it for you? " Laura asked.
Bella nodded with a grin.
Laura smiled as she opened the book and began to read Snow White and the seven dwarfs.
"The end. Did you enjoy the story Bella?" Laura asked.

Bella laughed nodding and then leaned against Laura who began stroking her black bob haircut. Laura began to hum her little sister's favourite nursery rhyme which was Baa-Baa Black Sheep.
Bella then giggled and so did Laura.

"I am sure that you enjoyed that song Bella." Laura beamed.
Just then Laura's mother Pat entered the room and looked at Laura amazed.
"Laura what is going on in here at three 'o clock in the morning?" Pat asked worried.
"Bella came in so I could read her a story and sing her favourite song." Laura said.

Pat walked over to Laura perplexed then said as she sat down beside her, "Laura dear, Bella is dead she died one year ago drowning in the lake."
Laura felt her heart burst and once again burst into tears like she had always done after Bella visitered her then vanished when her mother came.

She is real mom she comes to me every night, Laura thought miserable.
Pat put Laura back to bed and turned off the light. Joe, Laura's father watched gloomily from the doorway. Pat shut the room door and this time locked it.

"We have to take her back to the psychiatrist Joe. She needs to be admitted."
Joe nodded then the two made their way back to bed like they always did every night since their youngest daughter, Bella's death.
