Dear Me
Grandma was old she was very old like 75 years old so that's old.
And me I'm young very young like 13 years young, my parents left me when I was 7 years young so I been living with grandma from that young.I'm the only child, no brother no sister, just me. Just grandma and me living in this little cottage in this boring little town with mean people. Everyone is mean, the people, the kids my age and grandma (well sometimes grandma).
Why do I call her mean you must be wonder?
I have to be home straight after school, theres no going out with friends until after 8PM, I'm forced to go to church with her, I have to do the dishes and I only get to eat junk food like cakes on Saturdays.I don't feel that's normal. In the pit of my heart I feel that's unfair, she is being a witch. Like a "Hansel and Gretel" bad kinda witch nevertheless I do love Grandma well I have to.
Cos if I don't then who will take care of me?
Did my parents love me? Then why did they leave me with grandma and run away? They ran far away saying they don't want me anymore. Why didn't they want me?
What was wrong with me? I am normal, I am respectful, I am helpful and I am a good little person.
What if grandma starts to turn against me and leaves me? What if Grandma runs far away from me like my parents? What will I do? I can't allow that- no I can't. This time I'm going to do something about it and this time I shall be selfish because everyone in this world has been selfish to me!
Tonight grandma, I'm going to kill you! And then I'm going to find my parents and do the same to them. Its a promise. Tonight its "Bye Bye Grandma!"I need some rest I will go to bed and awake in the midst of the night when grandma is in the peak of her sleep.
I'm going to fold this letter, slip it under my pillow and go to sleep.
I opened my eyes and heard a soft tune like someone humming a lullaby. Who was it? Was grandma awake? I slowly climbed out of my bed and tip toed to where the sound was coming from and saw a beautiful woman in a blue dress smiling at me.
It was my mother! Behind her was my father also smiling!"Hello darling?" They greeted as if expecting me.
"You came back? Why did you leave me? I was so alone for so many years." I said with agony and rage.
Tears stung my eyes and ran down my cheeks.
My mother smiled not affected by my outburst. She and my father remained calm."It doesn't matter why we left dear, what matters is that we are here to fetch you." My father said.
I didn't know whether to feel happy or sad. I felt angry and that was it.
"I'm not coming with you I'm staying with grandma!" I yelled. My parents smiled, laughed then my mother said, "Grandma doesn't want you."
I couldn't believe what my mother said, "No you wrong! You and dad didn't want me!"
I shrieked with rage feeling abominable.
"That's not true darling we did want you." She replied.I shook my head violently, "No, grandma told me! She said so- she said that I was a burden and you both couldn't take care of me."
My parents exchanged worried glances and I on the other hand was suddenly confused.
Suddenly I heard screams of terror coming from my room and it sounded like grandma.I ran back to my room and froze with terror, shock and disbelief. I couldn't believe my eyes. Grandma sat beside my bed holding my letter! Was I dreaming or was this reality? My grandma burst into tears.
I felt so terrible and guilty for what I wrote. I was just so mad and hurt about the whole situation. As real as it all sounds I wasn't really going to kill her or my parents, it was just me venting on paper.
I tried to apologize but the words wouldn't escape my lips, my knees started to feel weak and I began to feel dizzy.
"I'm sorry darling but grandma killed you. She killed us too. We didn't leave you." My mother cried.
I watched my grandma wipe the blood off from the knife which she used to slit my throat with on a cloth and then stand above my dead corpse.
"I'm sorry Emma but I had to kill you before you could kill me. I'm sorry you turned out to be unstable, just like me. May your soul rest in peace." Grandma said.
The next thing I fell to the ground and blacked out but the funny thing was I didn't feel pain I felt nothing.
Grandma said, "Bye bye Emma."THE END
