Chapter 2

"At the beginning of the empty, dirt lands, there was just me... at least, that's what I thought. I began to create nature in the empty lands and humans were born. Throughout time, they grew smarter, building things and coming up with new ideas.

That didn't last long though... Only years later did this... beast show up. It began to destroy my people and everything around it - causing calamity. So I took it upon myself to save and protect the humans. I split the creature into two, to create balance in the world... Fire and water, darkness and light, *Yin and Yang*.

"Yang was kind. He created light for humans to see during the day, water for new animals, fruit on the trees. On the other hand, Yang's brother, Yin, was always filled with anger and greed. He formed darkness hoping it would scare people, giving them fire hoping they would burn, and diseases he wished humans couldn't overcome.

No matter what he made though, Yang always created a solution. Within time, Yin threatened to steal Yang's soul so he could become more powerful, and form things no one could overcome. In fear, Yang split his soul, creating many dragons with certain roles... Water, nature, the sun, and so much more.

"He then fled since splitting his soul made him defenseless and hid from his brother so that no one could be harmed. I couldn't do anything to help, my job was to give people karma or luck, not slay Yin. So I kept put - and everything was okay for years and years ...until now."

Buddha watched as the two dragons processed the new information. He was quite surprised that they didn't even know where - who - they came from.

Bada was left deep in thought. No wonder why he never recalled his parents - because he never had any to begin with. There was just a bunch of Mana built up inside him - he was simply a vessel to carry a part of Yang's soul.

"Do you...know where Yin is then?" Bada glanced up, ignoring the fact that he was nothing more than a vessel.

"I do not - but I do know where Yang is".

" Please tell us and we won't bother you any longer than we already have.''

The Buddha thought for a split second before giving a simple nod. He gave the dragons the directions to *Jeju-do island* that they wished for.

San turned around, bolting into the sky. Bada watched his brother disappear in the distance, looking back at the human.

Eun was speaking to Buddha. Bada watched as Gautama handed a luck ornament to the brown-haired boy. Once the two beings finished, Bada lowered himself to the ground so Eun could climb onto his back.

"Hold on" The sea dragon shot into the sky, joining his brother who had been waiting above the thick clouds.

Flying overhead, the land began to change again. More and more water came into view, fewer buildings and land. Bada was unsure whether his brother was leading them in the correct direction, even if he was the dragon of mountains and land. He decided to keep his jaws shut, continuing to follow his brother over the water.

There was a strong tug in Bada's heart, urging him to return to his home — the sea. It called out his name through every wave that washed over the surface of the land. Even so, he held back the urge to dive underwater and greet his fellow sea mates, straightening his eyes to see what was ahead and not below.
