(y/n) ran. She ran from the cops as the red and blue lights flickered in the darkness of the night, and sirens could be heard in the distance.
Why was she running? Well, she's a murderer.(y/n) POV
I was running down the street, away from the bluecoats' yelling and the sirens.
Goddamnit
My last couple kills went down really smooth & caused me to act careless.
I didn't even think of witnesses while killing that dude, so when I noticed that brat it was too late and he had already called the cops before I could get to him. I didn't expect a neighbor to burst in at 2 A.M. Well, two kills one house then.So that's how I got into this situation in the first place. Really, just great, I thought as I dodged under a fence and dashed through someone's backyard, heading into the forest as I knew the bobby's won't expect me to go there. Not like they could follow me anyways, they would never keep up with me since I'm way more flexible concerning my escape routes than they could ever be.
So after barely even 5 minutes of sprinting through random alleys and backyards I couldn't hear sirens, yelling or anything indicating them being on my back. Lost them, easy peasy lemon squeazy.
By the time I had reached the forest, I was dead. Like, the last time I actually ran from cops was what, 6 months ago? I wiped my knife on some leaves, shuffled them around (cuz we don't want to leave evidence) and slumped down on a tree, trying to catch my breath. Yeet, the killer life had it all.
I should actually workout sometimes, I really need to be prepared for this kind of situation...
nah this is fineThey probably had a good look on me though. Oh well. I should be fine, at least I assume I should be since they always think I'm some short dude. (I'm sorry if you're not short, just roll with it)
I checked my signature grey hoodie and blue adidas sweatpants for bloodstains or anything suspicious that might give me away. Both unisex of course. Why?
Well, A) it's easy to run in it, and comfortable as heck if I might add. B) they think I'm a guy, since the baggy clothes are a really good disguise. I know because the newspapers always say "Male around (y/h)" or something along the lines.
Their loss to assume my gender based off of my clothes. Another case for the " Adidas Killer" files, as the media started calling me. At least when they have the brains to trace different cases back to the same culprit. For them, only 4 kills are canonically on the "Adidas Killers" count. That's how often they've got to see me run. 4 times, now 5.Concluding I looked fine, and relieved didn't have to wash bloodied clothes at a public wash house, (which isn't cool, really, you get some weird looks, been there, done that,) I decided the coast was clear, pulled down my hood and plugged my earphones into my phone and scrolled trough my playlist, I settled with 'Molly' by Mindless Self Indulgence, because I felt it matched my mood. I felt badass, escaping the cops with such ease.
I'd still have to move towns again after that, I thought standing up and heading to my hideout. What a shame, the abandoned house I was residing in the past three weeks actually had the luxury of running water. Which is rare, usually I have to settle with moldy, rundown houses, partially even in danger of collapsing. Aww maan.
I tried avoiding public areas (although no one's gonna be out this late anyway), just to be safe. I walked through the calm and quiet park, listening to my music. So peaceful, as if I was the only person in this town I thought as the wind played with my (h/c) hair. I enjoyed that freedom. Going wherever I want, whenever I want, not worrying about money, or anything at all, as it was easy to rob a corpse.
or Subway ;) . now I'm hungry.
It wasn't always like that. Cringing at the thought of my past, I came across a bus stop and made a mental note to come back here after fetching my stuff and taking the first bus out of town.
