(y/n) POV

Within the next ten minutes both Toby and I calmed down, he went back to his seat at the table opposite of me.

Now that I think about it, this table is probably large enough to fit like 12 people.

Like for real, "where do you go buy a table this big??"
"EJ and I made it. We bought two tables and screwed them together." he explained, a proud grin plastered across his face.

Upon closer inspection, you could really tell that it's made out of two separate (and entirely different) tables. One was even kinda shorter than the other and had a brick and a piece of wood taped  under the legs with duct tape. Duct tape.
"It's lovely, but how many people actually live here?"

When I first got here I saw at least 5 people, and some more upstairs.

"We're uhh..." - he started counting on his fingers- "Ten people. We have Clocky, Jeff, Ej, Lj, Ben and Brian,Tim, m-me, Sally and Slendy." he finished. "And Clockwork's a g-girl too. She's really excited about you being here, but she left yesterday evening, s-so she won't be back for a while." Toby stared at nothing for a second.

"And there's also the Rake but... he doesen't live here. Gives me the creeps." He shuddered.

Actually what the fuck is 'the Rake'??
Just the NAME sounds like a... well, dangerous, but honestly I do not want to meet him.

Toby was just telling me something about 'Smile', until an intrusively familiar figure entered the kitchen; Jeff.

"You're coming with- oh god she's crying" he broke off his sentence and looked at me absolutely disgusted. Not even surprised.

"I fucking told Slender you wouldn't even last half a week" - he rolled his eyes and huffed- "However, if you want to leave us and never come back you don't need his permission to do so. Would get that guy who attacked you off my back too."
He smiled and grabbed some milk from the fridge, drinking straight out of the carton.

"I'll actually kill you."
Did I have the ability to do so? Of course not. But they say 'Fake it till you make it' and I got through high-school I attended that way, and maybe this isn't even that different.
I hope.

He just snorted and milk almost shot out of his nose.

"Goddamnit Jeff this is why we don't drink out of the carton!" Toby lectured him, and I remembered something.
"ANYWAYS;" said, emphasizing the word, "Didn't you come here for a reason you little roach?"

"Yeah, I'm the roach. You're the parasite here-"

"How about you stop making stupid comments all the time and help me out for once?" I snapped at him. I've had enough of his attitude. I knew I wasn't exactly better but scew him. His smug grin was gone the second I finished my sentence.

"For once? Who saved your SORRY ASS last night when you were attacked? I-"

"Just ignore him. He was supposed to tell you to go see Slender. And I'd like to take a look at your injuries afterwards too."
EJ stood in the doorframe. He wore the mask again, (maybe that's his little 'thing'?) so I couldn't tell whether he was only mad at Jeff or judging me for feeding into it as well.

However I still stood up and passed Jeff on my way out of the kitchen as if I knew where to go.

Which I didn't, but that's okay. He made a face at me when I passed on my way out and I stuck my tongue out.

EJ guided me back to Slendermans bureau, the room with all the reliefs and books. I told him everything about last night, and not once did he interrupt me. When I was finished he nodded and told me I was free to go.
