(y/n) POV

Within a second I was wide awake. I tried so sit up and pry off whoever was attacking me, but they sat on my torso, two cold hands on my throat, strangling my windpipe. They looked inhuman, like a humanoid shadow without a physical appearance- no face, no hair--

"Jeff--let the-- fuck GO!" I yelled, (or rather tried to) and threw a punch at his jaw so he'd let go but, naturally, I fucked up so he just loosened his grip a bit, but that was enough for me to be able to roll over so that I'd be in control now, but someone got to that first.

Another shadow leapt at the invador from beside me, throwing them off of me and my bed so now they both fought on the floor next to the bed.

"WHO ARE YOU" the person who threw the invadow off me yelled. I recogznized the voice to be none other than Jeff.
WAIT IF IT WASN'T JEFF WHO ATTACKED ME THEN-

All of a sudden, the attacker countered Jeff's punch from before and went straight for the stairs, and whilst Jeff just managed to get up after them, I already jumped off the bed and was on their back. I chased them upstairs, and was SO close to grabbing them while they looked around, but then they recognized the door and ran outside.

I reached the door right after them, was just about to run out and follow them until someone grabbed the collar of my shirt from behind and pulled me back, making me stumble and almost fall on my butt.

"Not you, pancake" Jeff muttered, and ran right past me.

"what" I whispered to myself.

With squinted eyes I watched him run into the forest after the intruder and then lost his sight.

"what" I whispered again.
What the fuck just happened? I just stood in the doorway and observed the part of the forest they vanished in.
Who the hell was that? Was it someone out of the mansion? But Jeff didn't recognize them. And on their way out they were looking for the door, so they aren't familiar with the house...

That's when I saw a silhouette walking out of the forests shadows.
Now that I think about it, what if Jeff found them but they finished him off? What if they're returning for me? I'm unarmed. But after another thirty seconds of me being stupid and paranoid the silhouette turned out to be Jeff.

"And? Did you catch them?" I asked when he reached the porch and stopped right in front of me.

"Well what does it look like?" he sneered and glared at me. The moonlight made his eyes look like they're glowing, like when the ocean reflects the moon above.... Geez his eyes are pretty-

WaiT nO

"If you wouldn't have stopped me, I would've caught them." I said, turning my head to the side.

"Oh shit up bitch, you would've died in that forest"
He said it with confidence, and honestly he was probably right but I'm not gonna admit that.

He rolled his eyes, shoving me to the side and coming in, and closing the door behind me.

"Yea since you want me to live huh?" I retorted, crossed my arms in front of my chest and furrowed my eyebrows, glaring back at him. Or rather his back because he didn't even fucking face me.
"Who was that anyway?" I asked and followed him into the kitchen where he opened the fridge and threw a can of coke at me. "How am I supposed to know? Do I look like Jesus?" - he browsed the fridge for something and then paused- "coke fanta or sprite?"

"(drink of your choice)." I murmured and he tossed me another can. "I bet we'd know who's under that mask if you would've let me handle that.."

"What is this, Scooby-Doo? If he managed to counter my hits like that then he would've flicked you off like a bug" he laughed maliciously heading towards the living room, with me right on his heels.
