I'm not afraid of the world around me
Not afraid of the thoughts, the criticism
Afraid of neither failure nor judgments
I'm not afraid of the darkness around me
For how can i,
When i fear my own mind,
Afraid of my own heart beating
When i fear letting go of the truth
Of everything frail as it blows away
Just like me slipping every day
Into the edge of my mind, dark and foggy
Unclear of my wants, desires
Making my heart stutter with goals lost
Making me fear uncertain future
And yet; yet I do not fear the dark
For how can i
When i fear my own mind
