Breathless - A Kimetsu No Yaiba Story

-The days after (Y/n)'s encounter with Daki-

Inosuke, Zenitsu and Tanjiro kept searching for information.

(Y/n) was nowhere to be found. He totally disappeared.

This worried the sound pillar a lot : he didn't like the heat pillar, but he was forced to admit that he was strong, if he was taken down, that mean that his opponent was even stronger...

-at night-

"Now, answer me. Who were you sending those letters to ? Now what was your name again ? Oh that's right, it's Makio. You will answer me, Makio !" Say Daki, to a woman she captured.

Inosuke was nearby and came, but it was too late, she already escaped.

-meanwhile in Zenitsu's kyougoku house-

Zenitsu was listening to the sound in the house, trying to hear a conversation that could have useful info in it, when :

"A girl is crying ! That's a big problem."

He rushed to a room that was destroyed, a girl crying in the middle of it.

"Wha-! What happened to this room ? It's all messed up !" Zenitsu ask

The girl turn to face him, revealing that her face was beaten.

"Uh, a f- a fight !? Are you okay did you fight ?"

The girl started to cry even harder, and Zenitsu tried to stop her crying, without success, when he heard a voice behind him.

"What are you doing in someone else's room ?" It's the cold voice of a woman.

'It's the sound of a demon. A demon is behind me right now. This isn't a human sound. I didn't notice at all until it raised it's voice. Does this even happen ? On top of that... Isn't this an upper moon demon ? It's a terrible sound but it's so quiet it frighten me.' Zenitsu thought

"Hey, are you deaf over here ?" The demon angrily asked.

"W...Warabihime-oiran... It's a new girl so..." Tried to intervene a scared girl on the side of the room.

"So  what ?!"

"We're sorry for just barging in ! The room was a complete mess and there was a girl crying..." Interject Zenitsu

"You're so unsightly you're making me barf. Wouldn't the world be better off if you died ? True the room is a total mess right now, and I told this girl to clean it up." Daki, known here as Warabihime grab the beaten girl by the ear, making her scream in pain.

"Don't just scream ! Clean the damn room !"

"I'm sorry ! I'm sorry ! I'll do it right away please forgive me !"

Then Zenitsu grabbed the demon's wrist.

"Get your hands off her !"

He got punched through multiples rooms.

"Don't touch me so casually, you hotheaded rotten brat. Looks like you need some discipline.

The master of the house then begged on his knees to Warabihime , pleading her to keep the house's reputation.

That calmed her down. But the day after, Zenitsu disappeared too.

On the top of one of the houses, Inosuke was informing Tanjiro about the demon he saw.

"There's a demon at my place ! It was like this !" He made some weird gestures.

"Hold up. I think Uzui-san and Zenitsu will come for our regular meet-up."
