Breathless - A Kimetsu No Yaiba Story

The demon train

"This thing is the master of the land, yeah... It controls the land. There's no mistaking it's length and intimidating aura. It may be sleeping now but don't let your guard down !" Inosuke say, astonished at the train.

"No, it's a steam engine, you don't know about it ?" Explained Zenitsu

"Shh ! Calm down !" Answered Inosuke

"No you calm down." Say Zenitsu

"I'll go on the attack first !" Say Inosuke

"If you attack the fucking train I don't know you." I tell him.

"(Y/n)-san is right, it could be a guardian spirit of this land so it may not be a good idea to suddenly attack it."

"No, like Zenitsu said, it's a steam engine."

"You know what a train is ? It's a vehicle. It carries people. You bumpkins." Zenitsu add to what I said.

"Is that what the crow was talking about ?" Ask Tanjiro

"Crow ?"

"Pig assau-"

I hit the back of Inosuke's head, stopping him from headbutting the train.

"Calm down. And hide your swords. We're not part of an official organization so we don't want to stand out and have trouble with the police."

We bought our tickets and boarded the train.

"UWOOOOHH ! WE'RE IN THE BELL-"

I interrupt him by hitting the back of his head once again.

"This Rengoku-san's a pillar ? Do you know what he looks like ?" Ask Zenitsu

"Yeah, he's a guy with flashy hair, and I remember his smell." Answer Tanjiro

"His flames are scary. I don't want to fight him ever again." I shiver at the thought.

They don't look surprised at what I just said so they must have learned through Shinobu about my fight with the pillars.

We then hear a guy screaming "Tasty !" repeatedly, and heading towards the sound we find that it comes from the flame pillar.

Tanjiro asked him questions about the dance of the fire god.

"So that's it ! But I dunno ! This is the first time I heard about the dance of the fire god ! I'm delighted to see you could use the dance your father performed in a fight, but enough of this story !"

"No, please wait. Tanjiro, you knew something like that ? That's amazing, you'll have to teach it to me later." I say, amazed. With that I can get even closer to the breath of the sun.

"Ok ! I'll try my best to teach you !"

After that, Rengoku said Tanjiro should become his Tsuguko, then explained everything about the disappearing of people on this train and that a demon was here and that he would show up.

Zenitsu started to freak out as usual.

The conductor then came to check our tickets and a demon showed up.

I grabbed my blade but couldn't slash at the demon, because Rengoku was in the way.

I let him handle the demon.

"That was awesome aniki ! That was amazing swordsmanship ! Make me your disciple !" Begged Tanjiro

"Sure thing ! I'll make you into a fine swordsman !"

"Me too !"

"Me too !"

"I'll look after all three of you !"
