3rd person POV

"What is it Henry?" Edward asks.

"Your blood is different from a normal man's. I've studied other blood than only my own but those all have similar things inside them, but yours Edward. Your blood has something inside it, it almost has this green glow."

"What are you talking about? the whole bit you have there?"

"No, it's small, as in I mean small stream-like things, but I don't know what it is. This is not something that man has. It looks very much like a chemical of a sort."

"Really? Can you find out what it is?"

"I can, give me some time though. I can get it by tonight, but I need to work on it for the rest of today. I won't have it today if I'm distracted too much."

"Okay. I won't distract you then."

"Thank you, though I have a question for you quickly."

"Alright, what is it?"

"How long have you been able to jump and move like that?"

"Um.. ever since probably about the middle of being in the orphanage. I just kind of woke up with it. But I thought everyone had that."

"No, far from it actually. I've never seen or known anyone who can jump like you can, it's incredible!!!"

"Interesting."

"It really is. But I should get to work. You can do whatever you want until I can get results."

"Alright."

Edward watches for a few moments while Henry takes notes on the blood sample he was given. Then he decides he'll go inside while he waits for Henry to finish so there's no chance he'll distract Henry.

Edward walks around and makes sure everything is cleaned up and put away, then stops to think.
"What happened that day?" He thought to himself. While trying to think of what happened the day before he woke with his abilities, Edward walks to his room to look at old journals of his. Edward takes his journals downstairs and begins reading through them. The first entry in his first journal was made after he found out that his parents had died. Edward tried to write out his emotions if he could, but when he didn't have the journal with him or he didn't have time to write then his anger would end up in fists rather than words.

He finds many entries on his magic tricks and about the pickpocket-ting. All are very interesting, when he first decided to try both and succeeded in one over the other. Then he used magic as a sideshow business for money. In the middle of his 3rd journal, Edward discovered that there was a gap of 5 pages between another entry. When he studied those 5 empty pages, Edward found small lettering in the bind of the page in the middle.
The letters read "book 7, color: green, page 1."

Edward remembers writing this, hardly, but it's there. Putting the pieces together with his memories he finds the book that he wrote about many years ago and sits in the main room with it. After Edward sits, Henry enters the room and sits with him, looking exhausted.

"What time is it?" Edward asks.

"It's about 8 o'clock at night." Henry replies.

"You look tired."

"I am.. but that isn't important, what's that book you have there?"

"Oh, it's a journal of mine, I wrote it when I was young."

"Really, what's it about?"

"I'm not sure, I've forgotten, but I'm about to read the first page, would you like to hear?"

"Sure." Henry sits up a little to listen while Edward reads.

"Okay, Entry one, it says:
'Something odd has happened to me. I feel as if I can do so much, but I don't remember much of yesterday... I remember a room, then a steam, and then I was out...'
Oh, then I think someone came in to talk to me so I continued after they talked and left."

"Okay then." Henry nodded.

"'One of the leaders just walked in and talked to me, she said that I had been asleep for 3 days! Of course I asked her what had happened though. She explained to me that we were doing a science project with another school, and during the project we were supposed to add a certain compound, though I accidentally heard her wrong and added a liquid. That liquid turned the project into a steam or something of some sort. She said that everyone was rushed out but I tried to stop what I had done, so I stayed behind. The teachers opened windows and doors to air out the building so it would soon be safe, but whatever had happened to that stuff, I had breathed it in too much and passed out in the air-infected building. Once they found me they brought me to my room and let me sleep for the next few days to today. Whatever I breathed in was a green color, and they said that it almost looked like I was drooling some kind of green substance.

This is so much to think about at the moment, but I'll write again soon about the results of this if any..

-Edward Jekyll'

That's odd.." Edward looks over to Henry who looks like he's contemplating life. "Henry are you okay?"

"That's it, that's what I've been missing!!!" Henry jumps up.

"Wait! What have you been missing?"

"I was wondering and needing to know how it made it's way into your system, but I couldn't figure it out! But that entry made all the sense in the world to me! If I can mix to make the smoke-like thing you breathed, but add another chemical at the same time I can keep it from smoking and turn it into a drinking substance!"

"That's incredible!" Edward says, then both run out to the lab and Edward watches Henry search through different chemicals.
