I binged watch the whole 3 season last night and it was pretty good. Now this takes part after season 3. Just for the heads up, their will be spoilers.

Ethari POV's

The rumors about the humans coming to help the elf's were in fact true. I knew it was true because of Rayla. But soon enough the high council changed their minds when they found out the truth about the mission. She was no longer a ghost of our people and that is how we ended up in this situation. We welcomed Rayla and the humans into our home, it was when they were entering. That I found out. "Ethari" Rayla called has she ran up and hugged me. "I'm so happy that your alive" I stated. Just one more person I am able to keep. At least I didn't lose both. But their still a chance. A few tears tugged at the ends of Rayla eyes. "I'm happy they allowed me back in" Rayla said. "Oh and I have a surprise for you" she said excitedly. She turned to face who I believe is Prince Callum. "Is he here yet" she asked. "He is coming Ray" Callum replied. H-he. "Ra-rayla" I shuttered. What did she mean by he. She couldn't of meant him. My eyes started tearing up at the through of him. I heard several 'move a side please'. "Ahhh here he comes Ethari" she squealed. Humans were moving aside to let a horse come to the front with two humans leading it. I saw Runaan sitting on top of it. My eyes widened in shocked has tears started flowing down my face. I didn't move either did I make a sound, I stood perfectly still. I heard grasps around me, 'he's alive' 'that's amazing'. The two humans helped him dismount has he looked at me kindly and smiled. I could only stand there has my eyes traveled over his broken arm and broken leg. He had his head wrapped up along with his chest underneath the shirt, he was wearing. I took a shuttering grasp has my foot took a step backwards while I placed a hand around my mouth. "Ethari" he said gently with smile has he opened his arms out to me. I immediately ran into his arms after I heard my name being called. I could never resist Runaan. Especially when he calls my name. I buried my head in his neck to help silence my quiet cries even though I wanna to scream with relief. But I couldn't. Not with so any people watching. "I promised that I would return your heart to you" Runaan whispered into my ear. "Yo-You always ke-keep your promises" I whispered back finally settling down. "I know. I'm so sorry, I had to make you wait a little while but I needed it with me. Now let's go home" he whispered. I felt a new wave of tears rush to my eyes at the feeling of knowing that Runaan could be returning home with me. And that he still cares about me. I hate crying in public or showing any signs of weakness. We quickly made it into our home because it wasn't that far from the entrance. He sat down onto the bed has I wrapped my legs and arms around him while crying my heart out. Knowing that we were safely home and that everyone is too excited to see the humans. Too excited to pay any attention to the screaming man, that was crying so hard his lungs threatened to collapse. Runaan sat their calmly shedding a few tears while hugging me so tightly like I was threatening to disappear off the face of the earth. I soon calmed down for real this time has I let out small hiccups. "Yo-you know for a whole mont-month I cri-cried myself t-too sleep" I told him quietly. "I couldn't sleep every well at all for the last 4 months. I remembered that I promised you that I would returned your heart. That kept me going" he replied. "Yeah because it was in our marriage vows" I answered with a sniffle. "I would have been dishonoring you and our bond if I didn't do everything I could to keep that promise" Runaan said with a great honor in his voice. "A week ago your flower came back up and I couldn't believe it. I started running around telling everyone that you were alive for the first 2 days. They called me insane and that the flower must be acting up because your my elf soul mate. On the third day I denied it. From the fourth to the six, I balled my eyes out" I confessed. Runaan cupped my cheek and stared into my eyes before leaning forward and placing a small light kiss on my lips. "It's okay I'm here now" he said with a sad smile. I leaned forward and pressed my forehead against his. "I know" I said quietly with a small smile. I climbed off his lap and laid down sideways beside the wall. I patted the spot beside me. "Your turn now, I feel a lot better so it's your turn" I over explained. He nodded his head has he laid down with me, he wrapped his arms around my stomach and his head in my chest. Runaan is a warrior, a assassin that doesn't - well can't talk about his feelings pretty good. So we ended up laying there almost all night, I just hugged him and kept lightly kissing the top of his head. This is all I can do with his condition because he is a 'unemotional assassin'. But this is all he needs. To know that someone cares. And that I care.
