Ch. 5 Missed Date

"Pst, Pst!" He said for the millionth time. "What?!" I asked annoyed. "Do you want to go to the movies at 6:00?" He asked. I gasped and sarcastically said "What? The Darren Shields just asked me to the movies, NO WAY! Omg!" I then followed it by a pinch on my arm. He then grinned and asked "So that's a yes?" I rolled my eyes  and said "Whatever." His smile grew wider.

Just then the bell ran and I looked at my binder's cover where I kept my schedule. I had Health ed next. I walked out of the class and walked to Health ed. On my way I met with Janie and we sang the song we always sing when we are going to Health ed.

"Yo, I don't think we should talk about this." She began. "Come on, why not?" I replied. "People might misunderstand what we're tryin' to say, you know?" She said with a smile. "No, but that's part of life" I said a smile as big as her's appearing on my face. "Let's talk about sex, baby. Let's talk about you and me. Let's talk about all the good things. And the bad things that may be. Let's talk about sex. Let's talk about sex. Let's talk about sex. Let's talk about sex." We sang together. We finished with Janie saying "Yo, Pep, I don't think they're going to play this on the radio." "And why not? Everybody has sex. I mean everybody should be makin' love."

"Come on, how many guys you know make love?" in front of the class. Just then, somebody yelled "DARREN!" Everyone started laughing and I doubled over in laughter. It took everything I could not to roll on the floor. Then, I felt two large hands grab my waist and say "Only to you, baby." I pushed him off and threw him a glare.

I then grabbed Janie's hand and led her to the back of the class. We sat down and I put my jaw on my knuckles. I was having fun staring at the board until I heard Darren say to the girl next to me "Hey gorgeous." I looked at him with an amused smile. "Hi." she said in a giggly tone twirling her hair in her finger. He leaned close to her ear and whispered something which caused her to giggle, nod, stand up and walk over to another chair close to Darren. He had a victory smirk on.

Then, Mr. Harris, our teacher who is always drunk,walked in jogging and ripped a book in half and screamed "ARE YOU PUMPED? ARE YOU PUMPED? I CAN'T HEEEAAAARRR YOU?!" "Um Mr. Harris? W-" a girl named Laura started only to be cut of my Mr. Harris. "Who's Mr. Harris?" He asked. "Um, you?" She asked. "What are you talking about çocuk (child in Turkish)? I'm Snuggles." He said. "Fact: A pig's orgasm lasts for 30 minutes." He added. "Mr- I mean Snuggles why are we learning about pigs?" A guy named Daniel asked. Snuggles sighed and walked over to his desk with a marker in his hand. "Would you like to teach the lesson Mr. Smartypants?" He asked handing Daniel the marker.

Someone raised their hand. "No matter what your problem is, it could only be worse in Cleveland." He said. And this continued throughout the whole lesson. In the middle of the "lesson" he stopped and stuck his butt out and asked "Does my butt look fat in these?" I chuckled and continued my almost finished drawing of a rose.  

"You guys want to come over after school?" Nicole asked. "Sure." Janie said. "Sounds good." I said. 

"Ale!" I heard him yell from the end of the hallway. "Darren!" I said mocking his tone. "Well, this is what I get for wanting to ask if you wanted a ride!" He said. "No thanks, I'm going to Nicole's today." I said. "Okay, later." He said with a wink and walked off. I rolled my eyes and walked towards Nicole's car. "There you are." She said before closing her door. I jumped in her car and buckled my seat belt. 

"Nicole! That's mean let him in." I said. "But he's so annoying." She replied in an exhausted tone. "No he's adorable!" Janie said. Nicole mumbled something to herself and walked to her door. She opened it only to be greeted by air. "Johnny? Johnny are you here?" She said knocking on his bedroom door. Johnny is Nicole's 2 year old brother and he is the cutest little thing ever! Nicole opened the door and Johnny was on his bed clutching his blanket while crying. "Johnny don't cry!" Nicole said walking over to him.

"You don't wuv mwe." He said. "What? Of course I do, I'm your big sis." She said is a cooing voice. "No." He said. "Yeah, tell you what, I'll make cookies just for you." She said. Johnny raised his eyebrows and flashed a smile "Chwocwate Chwip?" he asked. Nicole laughed and nodded. He stood up and ran to the kitchen. 

We walked to the kitchen and got the ingredients ready. I was about to start mixing them when Janie said "No no no, remember last time you tried to cook?" Last time I tried to cook I set my kitchen on fire and if it wasn' for them the whole house would have burned down. I sighed and said "Fine. Johnny let's go watch something while your sis and Janie make cookies." "Otay." He said. He grabbed my hand and ran to the living room. We were watching Bubble Guppies and I was pretending to be interested. I looked at the digital clock and it read 7:49. Well at- WAIT WHAT? 7:49?! Oh no Darren!
