Plan

"Mikasa?" Someone called.

She didn't respond, she just stayed on the same position she'd been all night long: laying on her back, scarf in one hand, and the bracelet Jean gave to her the night they kissed in the other.

Sasha appeared laying on their bunk bed hanging her head upside down. "You've been laying there since we got here, what happened?"

"Nothing happened Sasha"

"Yes, something happened. you let me have your dinner, and you never do that."

"I wasn't hungry."

Sasha got off from her bed and sat on Mikasa's with her.

"Okay, I'm gonna pretend I believe that, and you're gonna tell me what happened."

Mikasa sat up and sighed. She felt like sharing her feelings, and why not to potato girl?

"I'm not sure. You know, I've been with Jean for about a week now, and I'm happy, but Eren's been really sad lately, and I feel like it's my fault." She explained.

"Okay, so boy problems?" Mikasa nodded. "Well, Eren had a little crush on you since forever, but so did Jean."

"You're not helping Sasha."
She sighed and they heard a knock on the door. Mikasa got up from her bed and opened the door to see one single wild flower, like the ones that grew behind her old house, which was her favorite flower because it reminded her of her home. She picked up the flower and the card that was under it.
"I care." It read. She instantly knew who sent it, because only this person knew what her favorite flower was. And the only person that was trying to prove her wrong.
Mikasa looked behind her, Sasha was now talking to Christa. She walked out of the room quietly, not bothering the girls. She walked to the boys' barrack, even though she knew it was prohibited. she knocked on the door twice, before Armin appeared.

"Mikasa? What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Can I talk to you?"

Armin closed the door behind him and nodded. As soon as the door was closed, she hugged him tightly, and he hugged back.

"What happened?" He asked concerned.

"I don't know what to do Armin." She whispered. Armin broke the hug and looked at her.

"What happened Mikasa?"

"I just- I really like Jean, but Eren sent me a flower tonight, and I'm not sure how I feel about him." She explained. Armin smiled warmly at her.

"You have to do what your heart tells you." He said

"But I don't know what it's saying Armin!" She sniffled "I don't know..."

He thought for a moment, before his face lit up with an idea.

"I know what you can do. You can go on a date with each of them, and you'll see who you think deserves your heart." Armin said brightly. Mikasa looked into her friend's bright blue eyes and smiled.

"Armin, you're a genius! Thank you so much!" She squeezed him in a hug.

"No problem Mikasa, but, can you please let go of me? I can't breathe." She let go of him and smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry."

"It's okay." he said turning to open the door again. "good night."

"Good night Armin." Mikasa said as she walked away.

This has to work.
