Jealousy

"What is it Eren?" Mikasa asked as soon as Jean left the room.

"I came to say that I'm sorry." he said

"It's okay." she told him

"Are we good?" He asked

"Yeah sure." She said blankly.

It pained Eren that Mikasa was being so cold to him, she never talked to him like this, she could be cold to everyone, except Eren, and now, she was using her coldness against him.

"Why him?" He blurted out

"What?"

"Why did you choose Jean? Why not someone else?"

"What do you mean Eren?"

"You fucking know what I mean Mikasa. Why did you kiss him?" He snapped

"It's none of your business Eren." she spoke, calm as ever.

"It is Mikasa. I have to ask you. Why the fuck did you kiss him?"

"I kissed him because he cares about me and I care about him" she cornered him in a threatening position, their faces were inches apart "And you don't give a single fuck about me Eren."

It hurt her to say that, but she had to.

"I don't give a fuck about you huh? And you think Jean can do better?" He challenged, their foreheads were now touching.

"I'm sure he can." she calmed herself down and backed off.

"Please leave Eren, I need to spend some time by myself, and if Jean is outside, please tell him that I need to be alone."

"I'll show you Mikasa... I'll show you that I can do better." Eren kissed her forehead and left the room.
