Decision - JeanKasa / EreMika

It was her decision

Mikasa walked around her room, biting her nails with one question in her head.

Jean or Eren?

"Mikasa?" Someone called from the door, interrupting the girl's thoughts. She looked at the blond boy standing at the door and smiled at him.

"Hey Armin." She said walking over to him.

"Are you okay?" He asked her.

"Not at all." She told him

"You'll be okay." He smiled at her. "Do you have any idea of who you are going to choose?"

Mikasa simply shook her head and looked down, avoiding eye contact with her friend.

"Can I come in?"

She moved slightly and signaled for him to seat on her bed. He did so, and Mikasa followed shortly after.

"Okay. Where did Jean take you in your date?" Armin asked

"He took me to a picnic on a nearby field, and we talked a lot. We watched the sunset and the stars." She smiled slightly and started playing with her bracelet "It was really romantic, but I have to admit, I did find it a little bit boring."

"Okay, and where did Eren take you?"

Mikasa sighed and started playing with the end of her scarf.

"He took me to a flower field. You know, like the ones we used to go when we were kids. We sat down and he made me a flower ring. We had a tickling war and we cuddled for the rest of the day." She chuckled. "It was amazing, and the flower ring is beautiful, but it was the most romantic thing he did."

Armin and Mikasa sighed at the same time as Armin tried to think a way of helping out his friend.

"I should have known this would happen." He said

And they talked for hours, trying to decide which boy would be the best for Mikasa. Of course, Eren was Armin's best friend, but he'd feel extremely bad for Jean if he just did this to get Eren and Mikasa together.

"I think I've made my decision." The raven haired girl said to her blond friend after a few hours of discussing.

"Good." Armin said standing up. "It's time for dinner. Let's go, and you tell them while we're there."

"So... Mika, have you decided?" Eren asked her once they were done eating.

They were now outside, Jean by Eren's side and Armin watching them.

"Hey, did Armin influence you to choose one of us?" Jean asked her nervously.

"No, I didn't. It was her decision, not mine." Armin said.

"I have decided which one of you deserves my heart." Mikasa started. "I really like you both, but one of you has got me. Jean, you're awesome, and our date was extremely romantic."
She said. Eren's hands turned into fists and Jean smiled at her.
"Eren, you are the bravest person I've ever known. Our date was goofy, but I really enjoyed it." She took a deep breath as Eren relaxed, and Jean's body went stiff.

"I hate having to do this, but I choose Eren." Eren smiled like a little kid, and Jean's face fell as soon as he heard that name. "I'm sorry Jean."

"Don't be." He smiled weakly at her. "But I swear, if he ever hurts you, I will kick his ass."

Mikasa walked over to him and kissed his cheek gently, before whispering "thank you" into his ear. She backed away and grabbed Eren's hand, and they walked away, happier than they'd ever been.

"I'll wait for you." Jean whispered to himself after they left. "I'd wait a thousand years just to make you happy."
