Neighbor Next Door: Daniel

Topic: Daniel X Neighbor! Reader
A/n: I just realized that oneshots are so much easier to write than actual chapters.

Daniel P.O.V.

I grabbed the boxes and began to move them inside the new house that I bought. The area really wasn't the best, but it was better than nothing. I continued to carry the boxes into the house. Once I finished, I was sorting the items in the box. I was in the middle of sorting my kitchen appliances until I heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened the door. I saw a (hair color) girl with the most gorgeous (eye color) eyes.

"Hi! You must be new around here. I'm Y/n! I live right next door."

She smiled. I smiled back.

"Yeah, I just moved here today. You can come in, if you want to."

She gladded accepted and walked inside. It was a bit dull, but I was planning on styling it later.

"It's cozy in here."

She looked in the box next to her.

"Oh! I can help you unpack."

She carried the box into the kitchen and began to sort the plates. I stuttered.

"Y-You don't have to!"

She just ignored me and continued to sort through the boxes. In no time, everything was all sort out.

"See ya later, Neighbor!"

She then walked out.

The next day- Y/n P.O.V.

I got up and got dressed for school. While packing my supplies, I heard a scream next door. I shoved the supplies inside and ran next door. I knocked on the door.

"Are you alright? I heard a scream."

I then heard a shout.

"Yeah! I'm fine! I just saw a bug!"

I just shrugged and walked away. Not realizing what was actually happening inside. I was on my way to school until this guy grabbed me by the shoulder.

"Hey, Y/n."

I looked at him confused.

"Do I know you?"

He was confused until he realized something.

"I'm your neighbor. I just moved in yesterday. I live with little Dan."

That makes more sense. I continued to walk to school now with Daniel next to me.

"What highschool are you transferring to?"

He thought for a bit.

"I'm going to J High Fashion Dept."

I then realized I was also in the same department too.

"Me too. I can lead the way."

Time skip

I sat down in my seat after leading Daniel to the school office. I was surrounded by Zoe, Mira, and Zack. Zack started talking bad about someone.

"Zack, could you not be an as*hole? If you stop, you could actually get friends."

Zack just gave me an attitude and continued talking. The teacher then came in.

"Class, today we have a new transfer student."

When the door slid open, I swear I saw five girls faint.

"Hi, I'm Daniel. Nice to meet you."

The teacher nodded.

"Your seat will be in the back by Y/n."

I raised my hand.

"Now, let's begin."

I looked over at Daniel.

"Hey, nice to meet you, Neighbor."

He smiled.

"Hi, Neighbor."
