My family and I owned a small café, which was usually pretty calm. Everyday, I would see this boy with dyed blond hair on top, but the bottom was black and slightly shaved. He would always come by every day and just space out and look out the window. Today was his second week sitting in the café and staring out into nowhere.

"Dad! Can you prep a Orange Mango Smoothie, please?"

I then heard a shout back.

"Sure, but it's gonna take a while!"

I sighed. I sat down next to Mae, who is my co-worker, and went on my phone. I saw a bunch of hair models with crazy hair colors.

"Hey, Mae. Should I dye my hair?"

I looked at my hair and saw a dull (hair color) with dead-ends. She looked at me weirdly. "Where did that idea come from?" I leaned back and stretched.

"I don't like looking like a dead tumbleweed."

I began looking at hair colors and decided on a (hair color). I was caught up in my thoughts until a voice cut me out of my trance.

"Orange Mango Smoothie!"

I placed my phone in my pocket and grabbed the drink. I walked over to the guy and slid the drink in front of him. He glanced over at me with a face of confusion.

"It's today's special."

He still didn't look convinced.

"The 15th costumer receives the special for that day for free."

He was hesitant to take the drink, but he took after a couple of seconds. I walked away and back to the counter. Mae and my other co-worker, Sebastian, were staring at me and wiggling their eyebrows.

"What's up with you?"

I just blushed and crossed my arms.

"It's nothing. I just wanted to do something nice."

I looked over at him and saw that he had a cute little smile on his lips. I blushed even harder.

Third Person

For the past two weeks, the mysterious blonde would always receive a drink from her. He observed her characteristics when she wasn't looking and make small notes about what she liked. Their bond grew each day as the days went by. She finally decided that she had had enough and decided to make a move.

As usually, I'd give Jae his drink. I was surprised that he even decided to introduce himself. He seemed like the quiet and mysterious type. But, toady was different. I decided to write my number on a napkin and place it under the drink. As I walked away, I heard the glass being moved. I glanced back to see what was going on. I saw him pull out his phone and type in something. I then got a notification from my messages.

XXX-XXX-XX- Thanks for the drinks, Y/n. I'll treat you this weekend.
