Turn and Burn Baby

Dakota's POV..

"Come on baby, you can go. Go!" I muttered to myself.

I've had the biggest crush on Brandi forever. I just love everything about her. How she isn't afraid to take on a knew challenge. She loves all the horses I bring for her to ride. She is just a perfect person.

When I saw her face light up while she was galloping Indy I just had to scratch my plans for that horse and offer him to her.

My plan was to get Brandi to compete on him today and then sell him. But I just couldn't.

She was out on Indy now. Galloping the barrels with ease. She knew what she was doing. I never had to tell her what to do. I'm supposed to be her coach, but she's just fine in her own. She knows that she has to get the horses I bring to her to give their all.

She finished with a time of 16.5 easily putting her in first. With Danielle right behind her with 16.6.

Danielle is a good friend of Brandi's. She rides a horse named Jenny. Jenny is a big solid grey dappled Quarter Horse that Danielle actually got from me a while ago.

Then there was Missy with her horse Bullet. Missy was rodeo queen 2 years in a row and queen bee of the rodeo circuit forever. In other words she the Queen Whore. She doesn't really care for poor Bullet. Bullet is a bay Quarter Horse gelding. He is an amazing barrel horse. But Missy doesn't give a crap she just wants to win. And she will do whatever it takes.

After her was Cassie with her Harley. Harley is a saddlebred paint cross. He is surprisingly really into doing barrels. Don't ask me why but he is. He's actually really good.

Then there's Grace with Sadie. Sadie is pure mustang and loves to go. That little pony just has speed.

After everyone went Brandi went again with Jack. That little short legged horse, surprisingly has a lot of speed. I've rode him before. He is REALLY fast. We were racing fat ponies out on the trail on a wide spot and my fast, fat little Appy couldn't keep up. He actually went faster then Indy did. He got 16.5 and I just stood there while everyone had their mouths wide open. I just stood there smirking, I knew she would pull something like that.

She hopped off of Jack and I pulled her into a hug.

"You did great today. First and Second." I said as I winked to her. She blushed and smacked my arm.

"Well y'all know I'm not in it for the placings. I'm in it for the adrenaline rush." She said, he accent soft. She was so beautiful. I didn't know what I was doing when suddenly my lips were on hers.
