Zaahir: are you scared?
Nausheen: no. why?
Zaahir: why were you crying? Nobody is going to eat you up.
Nausheen: where are we going?
Zaahir: do you want ice cream?
Nausheen: not now.
Zaahir: ok then let's go on a drive?
Nausheen: no. let's go home. Everyone should be waiting.
Zaahir: okay
He turned the car towards his house. I got out of the car and saw the house, it looked very different. It was painted newly. When we reached the door. Everybody was waiting for us to come. The attention I got today made me feel like a princess. I had come here so many times but I had only seen the kitchen and the dining hall properly.
Nahida auntie: my daughter looks very pretty tonight.
Omar: yea, you look very pretty!
Nausheen: thanks so much!
Nahida auntie: you must go to your room and rest now, I'll show you the full house tomorrow.
Zaahir was still holding my hand. He pulled me to the first floor. There were two rooms here. One of the doors said "just married" I knew it was Zaahir's. I guessed the other was omar's. I looked at Zaahir, he looked at me, embarrassed and we both let out a laugh.
I walked into the room and I was awestruck. They had decorated the room very beautifully. There were LED's, red roses and white jasmin. Zaahir entered the room right after me. I went and sat on the bed. He sat in front of me, turning towards me.
Zaahir: why are you looking down? You look upset.
Zaiab: absolutely not. I'm just not able to express my happiness. I'm so happy. Its been my dream, this day was a dream for the past so many years.
I gave one big smile looking up at him.
Zaahir: you look very beautiful today, MashaAllah!
I blush, look down, pull my hand frorm his, and let out a small smile.
Zaahir: what do you want?
Nausheen: Respect. Trust. Love.
Zaahir: wow. But I'm talking about a gift, after marriage? Actually Ammi had asked me to buy something for you.
Nausheen: then why didn't you?
Zaahir: you would've already got so many gifts so.
Nausheen: your gift would've been the most special one.
He puts his hand into his pocket and removed a box. It had a ring.
Zaahir: I got this for you.
It was the best ring ever. I loved it a lot. I gave it back to him. He looked puzzled first but then he understood and put the ring into my left ring finger.
Zaahir: I bought this with more than a year's savings. Obviously, you know you mean a lot to me. Don't lose it. I promise to stay with you till we die. Love respect trust. I promise to give you all of it. InshaAllah!
Nausheen: thankyou so much! I promise I won't ask for anything more than this.
Zaahir: let's pray and sleep.
Nausheen: let's freshen up first...?
Zaahir: okay!
I went opened one of the bags and removed a new satin night dress. Then I sat down to remove all the jewellery. I managed to remove bangles and the finger rings, but my necklace was struck with my hair or my dress. I needed help. And it was too late Nahida auntie should be sleeping. Then Zaahir knocked the door. i open the door for him.
