Brandon ran back toward his parents with an extremely giddy look on his face and he pounced into his mothers arms, jiggling his trick or treat bag happily. "It's full!" He quipped and allowed his dad to take the bag to carry it for him.
Ariana smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek, rubbing his bag. "Good, because it's getting late and pretty cold. How about we go home and eat a little bit of candy while we watch a movie?"
"Daddy too?" Brandon asked with an excited twinkle in his big brown eyes.
Ariana looked at Jai, who smiled at the two with a nod. She smiled back and looked at their baby. "Daddy too."

Brandon was now bathed and in his pajamas. Ariana had showered herself and put on sweatpants and a sweater and removed her make up. She lent Jai a pair of Frankie's pajama pants and a t-shirt so he could be comfortable.
She came back into his bedroom and smiled at the sight of Jai and Brandon trading halloween candy on the floor.
"I'll trade you a Snickers for a Kit-Kat."
"Wh- hey now, Kit-Kats are the best ones."
"I know." Brandon grinned mischievously at his father. He sat cross legged on the floor in front of him. His wet hair was slicked back and out of his eyes.
"You're an evil little one, aren't you?" Jai laughed as he handed over one of his Kit-Kats and took a mini Snickers bar.
"Yep." Brandon quipped and happily took the chocolate from him and smiled at his mother when she settled down next to him.
"Okay - time to pay the mom-tax." Ariana teased, kissing his cheek.
Brandon picked up a tiny pile of candy that rested beside him and plopped it in her lap. He had hand picked out each of her favorite candies for her. "Here you go." He smiled.
Jai chuckled. "Mom-tax?"
Ariana stared at the pile in appreciation - not that he had given it to her, but the fact that he didn't just give her the candy he didn't like. Because the candy he liked was the candy she liked. She was so touched that he gave her most of his favorites.
She smiled brightly at him and cupped his face, kissing his nose. "Thank you baby," Then, turning to Jai, "yeah, mom-tax," she smirked. "Okay, now it's time for bed." She placed her tiny pile of candy in her sweatshirt pocket and stood helped him put his candy back in his halloween bag. She watched as Brandon crawled into his bed and sat on the edge, tucking him in. "Want me to sing to you?"
Brandon snuggled deep into his bed and smiled up at his mom. "Can you both sing to me?"
Jai looked up from the floor in surprise and smiled, shoving his own candy back into his halloween bag and stood up. "Yeah. I have the perfect song."
Ariana looked up at him in curiosity. "Do I know the song?"
Jai smiled down at her. "Trust me. You do." He cleared his throat and started snapping his fingers before singing in a deep husky voice that sent chills down Ariana's spine.

Baby let me be
Your loving teddy bear
Put a chain around my neck,
And lead me anywhere.
Oh let me be
Your teddy bear.Ariana stared up at him in astonishment and she slowly smiled brightly as memories of that song came rushing back to her. Their parents used to sing that song to her, Jai, Luke, Frankie, and Beau every night for an entire summer as all five of them used to sleep in one room.
