the darkness within

prologue

I left right before the war ever started, because it was something, I never wanted to do in this lifetime or ever. My daughter was born about 1,000 years after the war started right here in Rome. I never told anybody why I left because I knew it would cause a lot of confusion and chaos. When my daughter was born, everything was great, then something happened to where it would cause a lot of problems for her. She was never supposed to be born due to her being half demon half human. Our government is different from the one here in Rome. She won't get her full powers until she is 21 one years old.

When looking at her more and more over the years of her growing up she's starting to look like the very first demons more than ones now. That will also get her killed because of how they were, the government doesn't realize how dangerous she can get if she gets deprived of what she needs to eat, and it won't be good for them. She's like this because every 1,000 years or more, a girl or boy is born as a first demon, nobody knows why it's like this, but it is.

Since the new government has been in place for around 500,000 years ago, they required that they have either be asked or notified, when you want to have a baby. Because they wanted babies to be strong where they saw fit, but they would still have control over them, like what they could and couldn't do. They don't like the older ones because they are a lot stronger and harder to control, because they never had a government, and so forth and so on.

My daughter's demon name haderian and her human name is lily. The government thinks that the older demons before they were made or something different and think they are the threat. When in fact it's the government that is the threat. With what my daughter is there is a select few that I trust the most, knowing what she really is. I must keep her safe one way or another. If people found out what she is they will either try to kill her or use her so that she won't complete the prophecy that she is to be a part of. There's no way they will get a hold of my only daughter. they can get her over my dead body. if they were to get her, everybody would be dead within a few days, if they unleashed her powers. which wouldn't be good at all. They don't know honestly powerful she can get to, if that was to happen.

So, in order to keep my family safe, I had some guards and other people that I know that will stay loyal to me, to make a false claim what had happened to me so they cant get to me, if that happened. So, for this reason I must leave to protect my family, as I believe the false story wont hold forever.
