Chapter the First

"Spiderman has been a vigilante for years, seven to be exact. Spiderman has almost always gone out except for when he was rumored to be in a relationship with Gwen Stacy. After she died helping him he disappeared for a few months. He eventually returned to fighting crime once the Rhino decided to attack. Now Spiderman has disappeared again and his villains are rumored to have escaped and are forming an alliance. This group is called the Sinister Six it consists of the Green Goblin, Rhino, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven, and the Lizard. We don't know what their next move is but we do know that whatever it is chances are is that they're going to go after Spiderman. Your task is to track down Spiderman before they do!" Fury tells the Avengers.

"How are we supposed to track down Spiderman if SHIELD doesn't even know who Spiderman is?" Tony asks.

"Figure it out Stark! You can start by asking Deadpool. Rumor is that Spiderman and he are still in contact."

"You can't be serious! Deadpool is a nutcase and dangerous!" Steve tells him.

"Deadpool has been taking over Spiderman's patrols ever since Spiderman went awol. I suggest you get to it now before innocent people get hurt."

"I'll need access to SHIELD's database!" Tony tells Fury before he leaves.

"We already know that you hack into our database might as well do it again. I'll expect a report on who Spiderman is and why he's been awol as soon as you find out."

Fury leaves, leaving the Avengers in the conference room.

"Who is this man of spiders?" Thor asks.

"He's been a vigilante for years and SHIELD or any other organization has nothing on him," Natasha supplies.

"Tony find out where we can run into Deadpool at tonight and question him," Steve says.

"Bruce, you'll help me right?" Tony asks.

"I guess."

"Good then let's get started!"

"Right now?"

"Tony it's three in the morning!"

"So, it's never too early to get started besides I doubt anyone of us is going to bed now."

"I'm going to go train, Clint you're coming with me!" Natasha says dragging Clint out by his ears.

"Hey just because I'm deaf doesn't mean you can pull on my ears!" Clint says.

"You'll get over it," the two of them leave still bickering.

"I think I'm going to get some training done as well!" Steve says.

"Mind if I come with?" Sam Wilson asks.

"I'm going to go watch some television, Wanda would you like to come?" Vision asks.

"Sure."

"I have to go as well," Thor says walking out the door.

"Looks like it just leaves me and you Brucie."

"Fine let's get started but if I help you, you have to eat at least one nutritional meal."

"Deal. Now, where should we start..." Tony trails off.

...Time Skip...12:00

Tony and Bruce had moved down to Tony's lab after about three minutes in the conference room. Tony had claimed that there weren't enough screens for him to multitask on. Bruce and Tony had already gone through hours of footage and realized that Deadpool always came and left in the same direction. Tony had also done some more research on Deadpool and found out that he has a house in his name and he has a wife. Tony found out that Deadpool's wife was an intern at Stark industries and went to school at NYU. Tony also found out that the house that the two of them live in was the house of Richard and Mary Parker and that Penelope Parker now Wilson is their daughter.

"Hey, Bruce look who works today and who happens to have her lunch break right now!"

"Tony, no. We aren't going to bug an innocent girl even if she is the wife of Deadpool."

"The wife's know everything though. She clearly knows her husband and what his former job was."

"Well if you go then I'm also going."

"Fine, but we should tell Natasha what we've found or else she'll kill us."

"Okay, I'm pretty sure she's in the commons area."

"Actually I'm behind you, now what have you found?"

"How'd you even get in here the lab was locked? You know what I don't even want to know. Apparently Deadpool has been getting busy the past few years and got married three years ago to a Penelope Parker. Penelope is also one of my employees so chances are she also knows who Spiderman is because married couples hardly keep anything from each other besides if Spidey got injured chances are Deadpool brought him to his house and the wife found out the identity."

"Alright let's go talk to her then."

"See Natasha thinks it's a good idea to question her."

"Chances are she's an innocent civilian and doesn't know anything besides she's still young three heroes are bound to surprise her."

"It's alright Bruce, Stark and I can handle this. We better get going that way we don't have to pull her away from her work."

"We'll be back and if it fails well we know where Deadpool lives."

Tony and Natasha leave and Bruce follows after them due to the fact that he knows how both of them can get. Natasha can get a little violent while interrogating people and Tony can get a little too pushy and ask way too many questions that are really personal. Tony also likes to push people's buttons. It would be better if he went so she wouldn't shut down and not tell them anything.

The three of them take the elevator down to the cafeteria and search for Penelope. After a few seconds of scanning Natasha sees her in the corner of the room talking on the phone looking worried. The three of them also notice her stomach. As they get closer Penelope notices them and when they're only a few feet away she hangs up.

"H-hello?" Penelope says.

"Hi there Penny, I can call you that right?" Tony asks and Penny hesitantly nods.

"We have a few questions that we would like to ask you," Natasha tells her gently.

"If this is about my husband, he's a better man now. He doesn't even kill that often anymore either. He only kills if it's a life or death situation and, and-"

"Penny it has nothing to do about the crimes your husband has committed this is about Spiderman," Natasha says.

"S-spiderman?"

"Yes, now do you know who he is?" Bruce asks.

"I- I can't tell you that."

"Does your husband ever get violent? If he is he'll never have to find out what you told us and we can get you out of that situation." Natasha says gently.

"N-no Wade isn't like that he's loving, kind, and c-caring. He l-loves me and our unborn child."

"You don't sound so sure about that."

"I am sure. J-just something came up and I have to rush home. C-can I leave early today Mr. Stark, please?"

"Sure, sure I'll tell your supervisor."

"T-thanks! I- I have to leave now."

Penny leaves the three Avengers and Tony and Natasha share a look.

"I'll follow her," Natasha says.

"I'll follow the cameras in case you lose her. Come on Brucie we have some cameras to watch."

"Don't you think this is a little far, stalking a pregnant woman."

"That so-called pregnant woman knows a lot and that mysterious phone call clearly didn't help anything. She hung up the phone right before we could hear what was going on. Either she or her husband is in trouble. Considering her husband can't die I'd say she's more worried for herself and that baby."

"Fine but when you're watching the surveillance you have to eat or you won't be allowed in your lab for a week."

"Fine."
