Epilogue

6 years later...

Elaina's POV

"Mama, Papa, look!" our three old daughter, Cora, said as she pointed to the baby dolphin swimming past us.

"Do you want to swim with it?" Llyr asked and Cora nodded excitedly. Llyr called the little dolphin and it swam over. Llyr instructed Cora to hold on to the dolphin like he told me all those years ago.

She nodded enthusiastically before she and the little dolphin swam further.

"She's getting so big," Llyr said.

"She's still our little girl," I told him and he pulled me to his side as we swam further.

"Yes she is."

Once we reached the dock we found my brothers along with their sons and Rhixton and his son waiting for us.

Ethan stood with his two sons on his hips, Eckard who was four and Kyle who was two. Eldrich also stood with his two sons on his hips, they were three year old twins, Roan and Teran. Rhixton was standing near the edge with his four year old son, Jaxon, with towels in their hands.

Llyr quickly picked Cora up and placed her on the dock and Jaxon immediately greeted her excitedly by giving her a hug and handing her a towel.

"Here you go, Cora," he said as he gave her a toothy grin.

"Sank you, Jax," she said before she dried herself off. Her silver and gold tail was replaced by legs and she was dressed in a cute gold and silver dress. Once she was clothed, Jaxon helped her to her feet. Her cousins fought against their fathers to let them down and once they were on the ground, all four of them rushed to Cora, grabbing her in a group hug. Llyr and I got out of the water and repeated the same process. Once we were dried and clothed the five boys attacked us with hugs. Once they greeted us they asked to go play and once we gave them permission the rushed to the beach. The four boys were in front while Jaxon and Cora was holding hands and walking behind them. They were in a deep discussion about something as they trailed behind the rest of them.

I saw Rhixton watching them as well, "Maybe one of these days we'll be family," I teased and we all laughed as we made our way to the castle.

Once we arrived in the parlour Llyr and I were both attacked by hugs, but this time by my sisters-in-law.

Nyra, who was a beautiful woman with long blonde hair, was married to Ethan. He rescued her from a tower a few years back and they've been in love ever since.

Erin, who was a smaller woman with dark hair and brown eyes, was married to Eldrich. He met her during the war 5 years ago, she took her father's place in the battle and she saved my brother's life on the battlefield. I never thought Eldrich would fall in love but he did and Erin was amazing.

My parents were still the same, they only had grandchildren to spoil now and believe me they did. They even spoiled Jaxon because he was like a grandson to them.

Once we greeted everyone we settled down on the chairs and we fell into easy conversation as we discussed kingdom life and everything. The children were playing in the middle of the room and it warmed my heart to see everyone in one room.

Ida called us for lunch and as everyone made their way to the dining room I sat back a while and watched my entire family.

"Everything alright?" I heard Llyr asked ask and I gave him a smile.

"Everything is perfect," and it was. I wasn't the fragile princess anymore, I was a strong queen with a loving family. I was a changed person, and it was all because of the treasures hidden by the foam of the sea...
