CHAPTER 7: THE PAST

"Hello Nash! Where are you?"; Zelena aka Marlin's aunt asked Nash AKA Nicole's dad in a phone call with a big smile in her face.

"I am busy working. I am in the office and the work is sure from the hell."; Nash replied with a sigh.

"Hey ummm can I talk to you later after the work?"; Nash added.

Suddenly the big smile of Zelena. Zelena saw her world being torn apart from a distance. She had a ring and a bouquet of flowers ready to propose Nash for marriage but she saw something horrible she could have ever imagine.

Nash was standing there holding a bouquet of flower outside a cafe. She saw a women walked by and Nash kissed her cheek. He gave her the bouquet and they just went inside with Nash's hand around the lady's waist.The bouquet fell down from Zelena's hand as the tears rolled down her cheek.

Zelena told herself not to overreact again and again. But the tears fell down continuously as the dream became just like the broken pieces of a glass.

Zelena stormed inside the cafe with the rage and the tears that was bleeding out of the eyes continuously.

She banged the table where they were sitting and grabbed Nash by his collar.

"You...." "What are you doing here?"; Nash spoke with the surprised face. His face was filled with guilt and cold sweat as if his guilty secret was out now.

"Excuse me lady, who are you? You are being rude to my husband infant of me and I certainly cannot tolerate that."; the women spoke with an elegant and cold voice.

"Ooh! So you were married too huh? You thought of me as some side chick huh? Was it fun?" Zelena spoke without leaving his collar out of her hand. Her eyes looked like they were going to pop out at any moment with the anger she hold in it.

"I....I am sorry. I was going to fix things sooner. I was going to tell you the truth."; Nash grabbed Zelena's hand and released his collar from her hand.

"I am sorry. What are you two talking about. May I interrupt the conversation. I am not in the same page as you two are."; zane spoke with fear and anxiety in her face.

Zelena turned to Zane and gave a fake laugh,"hahaha....hah, who am I?"

Zelena turned to NaSh and asked him with the tears and questions in her eyes,"who am I Nash? Your lover? Your prohibited lover? Your mistress? or just someone whom you thought to spare your extra time to?"

Zelena took Zane's and Nash hand ;and hold them together, "hope you two live a happy life."

Zelena threw the ring to Nash and gave her final words,"a trash bought for another trash is simply not for me."

Zelena turned around and just walked out the cafe. Zane was heartbroken and so was Zelena. Both of their heart was shattered all over with Zelena's dreams remaining simply as dreams that would never come true. Jane lost her control over her body because of the shock and she crashed down on the floor reflecting what happened just now.

"Zane-"; Nash tried to hold her hand trying to explain himself. Zane just pushed him with anger, heartbreak in her eyes. She glared at him and shouted," Was there anything missing in our relationship that you wanted another lady in your life? What about our baby? Was he just your mistake?"

"I am sorry...I was going to sort this all out. I was going to end things with her. I just fell in love with her when I was not in love with you and you know that because we both were forced for this marriage. Our child had to be born still I was not in love with you. But spending time with you and our Nicole I realised I had committed a great sin. I was looking for right time. I-"
