After 4 years

Today Jayden and Elise will start kindergarten.
They are so excited.
" I want to learn new things." Elise said.
" Me too. We are going to be awesome. " Jayden completed.
From what I noticed Jayden and Elise took a part of mine and Beverly's personalities.
Beverly and I went and we let our treasures at kindergarten.
" Bye mommy, bye daddy. Love you" They said in unison.
" Bye kids, have fun. We love you too." We waved at them and left.
After 4 hours we went to take them.
" How was your day, kids?"
" It was really fun." Elise exclaimed happily.
" What about you, Jayden? Did you had fun today?"
" It was great, I guess. " He looked so sad.
" What happened, honey?" Bev asked.
" I am fine." Jayden looked down.
" Someone made fun of him. " Elise admitted.
" Why?"
" Jayden stutters. That's what Miss Tiffany said. " Elise spoke
" They th-think I am we-weird. " Jayden talked.
" No, Jayden, you are not weird. I have a stutter too. I got it when I was little. Now I see that you have it too. "
" Why a-aren't you stuttering now? " He asked me.
" Because I grew up and I only stutter when I am n-nervous. "
" Daddy, did you have a brother or sister?" Elise questioned me.
" Yeah, I had a brother. He died when I was 12. "
"What happened to him?" Elise added.
I looked at Bev. She looked back at me. I can't say that he was eaten by a clown.
" He was sick, kids, like grandpa." I answer.
" I am so sorry that I asked you."
" Don't be Elise, you had to know."
We went home.
