I've never really been on a date, so I didn't really know what to expect, but so far so good he opened my car door for me, took me to a nice restaurant I had never been to due to how expensive it was.

We entered the restaurant when, Elijah seemed to know the owner as they hugged as soon as we walked in, which was good for me as he sat us in our own private corner. We sat down and immediately I was stunned as I finally examined my surroundings "wow, this is beautiful" I said making elijah smile "yeah, beautiful" he responds as he doesn't take his eyes of me, making me blush as I wonder if he was talking about the restaurant or me but I shrug of that vein thought. After ordering food I decided I wanted to get to know Elijah a bit so whilst we waited for food as I smiled sipping my drink "so elijah, tell me your life story" I asked, he nervously smiled and looked down which made me think this was a bad idea "sorry, you don't have too, I, I didn't mean to be so forward" he looked at me and grabbed my hand which I had resting on the table "no you didn't upset me, just a confusing story to tell" I just stared at him accepting that he didn't feel comfortable enough to tell me, but he finally spoke again "how about this I'll tell you mine, if you tell me yours" both i and elijah grinned as I nodded my head in agreement.

"hmm where do I start, I have a younger sister and an older brother ethan who takes care of me and Elizabeth, erm my parents aren't really around, I get a long with my dad but" he pushes his hair back and I notice him look nervous to carry on as I squeeze his hand for comfort he says "my mom is not in the picture" I give him a smile and say "it's ok" he instantly cheers up as he continues "yeah so as my brother was 18 when they left, he took custody and as my family are quite wealthy my dad made sure it was past to us, made it possible for us to live until a year ago when we decided to move here" he shrugs suggesting to me that he's finished, yet I feel like theres a whole section of this story missing.

It's my turn, I wonder where to start and preparing myself to think of them again  "I've lived here all my life, i was close with my parents" I pause holding back a tear "my mom was a nurse and my dad was some sort of business man, well I think he never actually told me" I see his confused face as he must think that last fact was wierd but I push through and ignore it. "I was a straight A student, I had great friends and a great life" this is it "then they died" at this point elijah had taken a hold of both my hands but he didnt ask how nor I told him so I smiled "but now my aunt is taking care of me until I'm 18" he leans back and asks "what happens then, what will you do" I'm sure he expects me to say college but without thinking instead I say something I never even knew I thought about anymore "I'm going to find my biological parents and figure what happen to my adopted ones, why they were scared that night and why we got in that damn car in the first place" tears start to fall as I try to hold it in. This time I'm able to shake it of "phew sorry about that, didn't been to be so dramatic" he laughs at me in a caring way "you don't need to apologise, everyone's got something bad in their life, you'll get through this" I'm not sure what this is as I begun to wonder why he didn't ask me what I was talking about as there's no way my rambling made sense and any other person would ask for a deeper explanation but just as I go to speak our food arrives and I decided to swollow my question.
