Alexis' POV
My phone rang and I picked up. "Hello?" I asked.
"Hey, did you get out?" asked Derek.
"I made it out just fine," I said. "I don't think they suspected anything. Thanks for the heads up."
"Yeah, no problem," said Derek. "I got in contact with Quantico. They'll be expecting you."
"Thank you so much," I said.
"I'll be there soon enough," said Derek.
"Okay," I said as I hung up. I drove for hours and finally arrived in Quantico, Virginia. I went to the park to change into skinny jeans, combat boots, a royal blue button up tucked in, and a black blazer. I got back into my car and went to the FBI academy. "Okay." I put my sunglasses on and got out of my car. I walked inside and took off my sunglasses. A pair of hands went around my shoulders and spun me around. "Derek Morgan."
"Yeah, address me as Morgan here," said Derek. "We gotta do something about your hair."
"I can't," I said. "It'll only mess with the color."
"Let's just hope Hotch agrees with it," said Derek. He put a belt with a gun on me and handed me my badge. "Come on." We walked into a room marked conference room. "Hotch, this is Agent Alexis Inthavong."
"Her hair," said a guy who is Hotch. "The picture you showed me. She's a brunette."
"Trust me on this, she's the same girl," said Derek.
"Okay," said Hotch. "I'm okay with the hair." I nodded. "Just going to take some time to get used to it."
"Alexis, this is Dr. Spencer Reid, David Rossi, Jennifer JJ Jareau, and our new add on from last week Kate Callaway," said Derek. "And this is Alexis Inthavong. So, who wants to know what about each other?" We sat down. "Just ask your questions."
"How long did it take you to get your hair like that?" asked JJ.
"Two hours," I said.
"By yourself?" asked Kate.
"Yeah," I said. "Just got it done a few nights ago." I put my hand on my head. "Is it me or is the room spinning?"
"Alexis, are you okay?" asked Derek.
"I drove all the way from LA here," I said. "Does that seem okay?"
"Alexis, you need to get some sleep," said Derek. "I'll take her to my place. I'll be back." Derek walked me to his SUV and got in. He drove me to his place and led me to a room. "I'll have your car dropped off later today. You get some rest."
"Thank you," I said as I got in bed. I dozed off as soon as my head hit the pillow. I woke up to the alarm clock ringing. "Seriously?" I hit the off button and sat up in bed. "Seven am?" I plopped back in bed. "I hate this."
"Rise and shine baby girl," said Derek walking in smiling.
I opened one eye and looked at him. "You're in too good of a mood," I said.
"You go back to school today," said Derek. "At the academy. Get up. You don't want to be late."
"Oh, I hate you," I said sitting up.
"I'm making breakfast," said Derek as he left.
"Great," I said. I showered and got dressed in skinny jeans, a white crop top, a black leather jacket and black high tops. I zipped up my jacket halfway and walked downstairs. "What's for breakfast?"
