Alexis' POV
I wake up to an empty bed. "Blake?" I asked. I slipped on my slippers as Blake walked in from the bathroom with his jeans and nikes on but no shirt. I smiled at him. "Hi."
"Like what you see?" asked Blake smirking.
I smiled. "Maybe," I said. Blake ran at me and tackled me to the bed, still being careful. I giggled. "I gotta get ready, you know."
"I know," said Blake giving me a kiss. He got off of me and sat on the bed. I walked to the dresser. "I just had my white t-shirt."
"Here," I said as I grabbed it off the dresser and threw it at him. "You forgot it over here."
"You get something nice on," said Blake putting on his shirt.
"Why?" I asked. As soon as I turned around, I was in Blake's arms. "Are you going to tell me why?"
"Its for me to know and you to find out," said Blake as he put on his black sports coat. He kissed my forehead. "Okay?"
"You and your sports coats," I said. I grabbed my clothes. "I'll be done in an hour since you're not telling me where we're going."
"That's perfectly fine with me," said Blake.
"Okay," I said as I walked into the bathroom and closed the door. I showered and got dressed in my favorite dark flared jeans, white tennis shoes, my royal blue top with a little black belt, and my black leather jacket (unzipped). I curled some parts of my hair and did my makeup. "I'm ready, I guess." I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs. "Blake, I'm ready."
"Abby," said Blake.
"Let's get you changed," said Abby.
"What?" I asked as Abby pulled me up to my room and closed the door. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?"
"You look great, don't get me wrong but it's not right for the occasion," said Abby.
I looked at what she was wearing. "Where are we going dressed so formal?" I asked. "Blake isn't even dressed formal."
"Promise to act surprise when we get there but it's your engagement dinner," said Abby.
"Rehearsal dinner?" I asked.
"No, engagement," said Abby. "You have the engagement dinner first." I looked at her. "Then, when it's closer to the wedding you have a rehearsal dinner and then the actual wedding, then the reception."
"Oh the headache of a seating chart," I said sitting on my bed as Abby looked through my closet. "I'm not ready for that."
"I got that covered for you," said Abby. "Don't worry about it."
"Abby, I've been meaning to ask you," I said as I looked at her. "Will you be my maid of honor?"
"Yes," said Abby. "I've been wanting you to ask since Blake told me about you guys being engaged."
"It's a long engagement," I said as Abby walked out holding a clear garment bag with a red dress. "I never worn that."
"When did you get it?" asked Abby taking it out of the bag.
"Last year but Blake's Valentine plans were messed up because the band has sceduled something without him knowing," I said. "It's a five hundred dollar dress."
"You're wearing this," said Abby.
"Oh, I hate you," I said smiling. I put on the dress and walked out with my makeup redone and my hair. "So?"
